Out of the corner of his eyes, Bayard saw Aria easily move around the doe's stamping, thrashing hooves, and latch her jaw onto the doe's neck, ripping out the creature's jugular, as he detached his own jaws from the doe's back.
"She's all your's."
He ate more than enough, being a large, yet quiet, hunter meant he was also quite a good hunter, especially when it came to silently stalking rabbits (and other small prey), and pinning them with his long-legged frame.
Also, because he ate at least once a day, unlike most wolves whom ate only every other day, he wasn't particularly hungry at the moment- sure, the hunt always got him slightly more hungry, as did bringing down the animal in question if it was a large one, but he hadn't had to trail the animal for miles, as he usually did with larger prey, so he hadn't had time to work up an appetite.
"You killed her, anyway."
Speaking again, he flashed a grin to the Aria, tail flicking lightly, before he fell down into a stretch, muscles feeling slightly weary from keeping the struggling doe in the same place- even for a few seconds. Shaking his maned neck, he yawned, sitting on the ground beside the kill, but not even feeling the need to look at it- he wasn't hungry in the slightest.
"I'm serious, Aria- I eat enough as it is, and I'm not hungry, anyway."
Bayard- being a gentleman? What was the world coming to?

Aria’s ears flicked with amusement as she heard Bayard offer the doe to her. She was about to reply with her own remark about how he should’ve eaten it first, since he was the younger wolf.
But he had beat her to it, saying that he wasn’t hungry.
“You seemed hungry before the hunt, but thank-you anyway.” Aria had murmured. She gave a small sway of her tail, showing silent thanks, before she crouched in front of the doe. Licking her maw as she bit into the flesh.
Blood had stained her deep black maw an even deeper shade of black as she tore of a strip of meat, devouring that in a matter of minutes. She hadn’t eaten for days, save a small mice she had the day before, and she finally had the chance of a perfect meal in front of her, though something made her slightly unnerved.
She wasn’t used to being in company of another wolf for so long, let alone eating with it.
“Are you sure you don’t want any?” she asked again, taking time to swipe a tounge over her teeth and maw. [/right]
