(( Is Yonder a word? Lol. Dunno ))
Wolf late in her teens, with pure-artic wolf fur turned worriedly in circles for a second, her bright frosty-blue eyes searched wildly as she sat down, looking for her dear friend Zuka.
She had fur unlike her only mother she remembered, Providence. Wondering if she'd ever see her mother again after the fire, the very young adult wolfs eyes saddened, she was the one, now remembering her sad past, that took her kindly in and nutered her like a true mother.\
As she always thought, but never said, the mother her angel, her now angel mother, has sent for her. Her mother in her heart, her mother in her soul. Always thought her true mother was Provi.
Her name was Misty. Misty, of Kupaii Lake. She had now three teen cousins, Allia, Mirage, and Lycore. And a great friend she could never forget, Zuka. The one she trusted all her most, her strongest friendship.

(Here he comes! And I dunno, yonder is a word but does it mean horizon? Or something...)
.::Zuka::.
Plume flicked behind him, and the mascu wandered through the trees solemnly, his handsome grey face with the twinkling emerald optics glinting and sparkling duller than usual. He still hadn't found her. Misty, his best friend, the one he had lost through the terrible sweeping fire that had seperated him from his pack, his family. The hard autumn leaves crunched and cracked under his paws as he strolled, the smooth sound of water flowing from a nearby creek or something similar nearby. Thirst grasped his senses suddenly. He hadn't realized how thirsty he was.
He pushed his way from the thicket, and made his way to the creek, lowering his maw and savouring the fresh, sweet water slipping down his throat, his darkening grey fur glossy and sparkling with health in the autumn light.

Misty walked in circles, oddly enjoying the sound of crackling leafs beneath her paws. She remembered playing with Zuka in the leaves when they where younger, when they where in Kupaii Lake.
She took a deep breath, her throat dry from the flames that she had already licked the coal-black off her. Tail flicked energetically, walking blindly to the creek she scented out earlier, where was Zuka?

.::Zuka::.
The dark mascu sat down, his dull emerald optics following the every ripple of smooth, calming navy of the water, the crackling met his audials, a memory shuddered into play like an old video tape:
"Come on Zuka lets play! The leaves are so...crunchy!"
"Crunchy leaves!? Lemme have a go!"
The joyous echoeing of laughter faded and faded to silence in the back of his mind, until only the original crunching of crisp leaves remained. In wonder, he looked up. To the other side of the brook a light gray female walked. Round and round in circles, unaware of his prescence, deeply engrossed in what she was doing. It wasn't until he caught sight of the facade of the fae his mind leapt and memories rushed like a thundering river, memories of Misty...she looked just like her...
No, it couldn't be. He'd lost her scent ages ago...she would have been in another pakc now...with other friends, and maybe a mate... If he asked her now she wouldn't even know him...it was impossible...
He scrambled to his paws, emerald's fixated on the femma's facade, and he stuttered, head held low, like a frightened pup:
"M...Misty?"
He paused, breathing in, tail swaying softly.
"Is that you?"

Eyes saddened in discourage of never finding Zuka again, she heard a very realistic voice of him calling her. Misty's frosty-blue eyes looked up with little hope, she blinked once, than grinned.
"Zuka!"
Her frosty-blue eyes went bright, her tail swishing happily.

.::Zuka::.
A delighted grin swept across his facade, emeralds glittering and sparkling wildly, dancing crazily in his excitement.
"Its really you!"
Is all he could say, as he just gazed at her, transfixed by just seeing her infront of him. She, like him had grown. In Zuka's eyes she was stunning, what used to be the light grey fur she once had had matured into the beautiful soft white coating that covered her athletic bodice. The amazing, distinguishable blue optics were unmistakable.
He wanted to see her. To make sure it was really her, he needed a closer view. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, for a flicker of a moment he believed he was in heaven. But the sharp stab a stone on his pad -the punishment for his foolish prancing- determined that he was not in a dream or in heaven, and brought him from his paradise back down to Pewter Creek.
After cursing bitterly under his breath at the stone, and giving it a permanent home (via kick) into the creek, he turned back to Misty with desperate eyes.
"How do I get across?"

Misty giggled softly, looking at the medium size crystal creek that seprated her. Her light blue frosty eyes where now softened, staring thoughtfully at the creek, her tail swished once, "Well... you or I could swim across, or we could fly" she grinned lightly, "Or we could try to find a path across" Misty looked to both sides of the creek quickly, "Which I don't think is going happen somewhere near here" she paused, speaking softer "And I don't want to lose you again".

.::Zuka::.
"I'm not wasting no more time finidng a path!"
He laughed, launching himself into the crystal waters without warning. He gasped slightly as the icyness o the water struck him, but he paddled on pathetically with dogy-paddle.
He climbed out the other side, his fur sopping wet and dark with the water not wanting to soak the beautiful Misty with shaking himself, he grinned at her, emeralds sparkling in happiness.
She really was real.

Misty sat down as Zuka approached, a smile gently placed on her face. He was there, in front of her.
She couldn't believe it. Misty's frosty-blue eyes where now as bright as the time her and Zuka did once romp in the leaves, and she giggled softly, eyes following him from head to paws. He had changed, just like her.
She could only utter softly a single word of speech, "Wow"

.::Zuka::.
"H..how did you? Where did you? What?"
He questioned himself once he had completly confused himself, shaking his head as he pondered for a few seconds, before uncontollably gazing back to Misty, and whispering out:
"I...I thought I'd never see you again..."

"I don't know..." She said, her frosty-blue eyes soft in thought. "I just came to this area, in search of you" she paused, nodding slowly, "Then I remembered how we used to play in the leaves" Misty smiled, looking at Zuka.

"Yeah..."
His voice soft, trailing off as he gazed at her, tilting his head slightly, gray fur sopping wet and dripping. Just begging to be shaken thoroughly, but Zuka had forgotten completly about that.
"Its lucky you did..."

"Is is lucky I did," Misty said, her eyes in sorrow thinking of what it would of been like without Zuka. "If I didn't..." She paused, looking at her paws and she spoke the last sentence softly, "I don't know what I could have done without you".
