The wolves could be seen trotting through the forest, and towards the creek. One was large, full grown one could guess, while the other was just a pup.
“Rave! Rave! Lookit! There’s a mouse! Can I get it? Please, please pleeeeaaaase?"
Rave, the larger wolf just chuckled. His quad colored fur, a mixture or brown, gray, black, and white blew in the wind as he nodded, looking over to the small mouse with his amber eyes.
He looked back down towards the pup, whose white fur and gray flecked back was blowing in the wind, making it seem puffier that it already was.. The pup was crouched down in an excellent display of a hunter crouch, but just the fact that her rump was high in the air could make one giggle.
“Lower your rump, Maxie.” Rave whispered, taking a brown and gray colored paw and pushing down lightly on Maxie’s rump. The pups gave a soft, embarrassed giggle before she lowered her rump.
Slowly, the pups dark blue eyes, almost black, filled with a deep concentration as she crawled towards the small mammal, her ears pinned to her head as she paused, her muscles bunching together as she prepared to jump.
A split second was used as Maxie leaped, and landed square on the little animal, ending it’s life quickly with a snap of her jaw.
“Yaaaaay! I got it, I got it!"Maxie exclaimed, smiling proudly as she picked up her kill, and proudly trotted back to Rave, her head and tail held high.
Rave laughed in reply as he gave Maxie a soft lick on the head. “Good job little one."He said.
“Seeeeeeee? I told you, jumping on those butterflies did help!"
Rave gave a soft nod of his head and flicked his tail, letting Maxie start on her small treat. He nudged the young pup a bit closer towards the creek, while he walked into the banks to get a drink of water, being sure not the let Maxie out of his sight.
He never knew what that hyperactive pup would do..

Black fur was swept back towards the southern end of a small body when the breeze swept through the pewter creek, and beyond, electric-yellow markings, a band around the base of a tail and a thunderbolt on a chest, seeming to glow as the small wolf, four and a half months old in fact, wove through the trees, sparks flying from her fur whenever said fur came into contact with twigs or grass; zapping everything that either she touched, or that touched her.
"C'mon Shay!"
The small pup yipped, as two new scents filled her senses. Suddenly realising what she had done, she froze, terror rushing through her body- she and her sister had made a pact; to never order one another. And Spark had just given her sister, Shaylee, an order- though she hadn't meant to.
For, they both had the same curse; they were both powerless to orders spoken from wolven lips.
Ears flattened back against a white-furred head as a blazing pain coursed through her skull, and Shaylee quickly increased her pace so that she was walking beside Spark, and the pain subsided. She cast a look down to Spark, eyebrows raised, before she scented what had made the pup accidentally order her- two wolves.
Smiling down at her younger kin, Shaylee increased her pace further and further, until she was speeding quickly and quietly towards the male and the pup that she and Spark could scent.
"Pick up the pace, sis!"
Whimpering at the pain of the order, though it was a useless one- for Spark had already sped up, thus the pain only lasted for a split second. Glaring at her sister as she caught up to the other females pace, both slowed quickly upon bursting through the trees and into the area known simply as Pewter Creek- where a small, female pup and a large male were at.
"Y'ello!"

Rave blinked as he raised his head from the water, to look over to Shaylee and Spark.
“Hiya!” Maxie said, smiling widely towards the two other wolves, raising her head from her meal, as she brushed dirt over the small skeleton of the mouse. Meanwhile Rave just padded up to stand beside his sister, still silent.
Maxie licked her blood-stained maw, turning the deep crimson into a lighter pink, flicking her ears as her eyes shined playfully. Maxie made a slight move to get closer to the other wolves, but Rave’s long tail flicked her lightly on her flank, and instantly she stopped, obediently standing still.
“Who are you two?” Maxie asked curiously, cocking her head to the right as her right ear flopped down limply, still keeping her deep blue gaze on Spark and Shaylee.
Rave had stayed silent, while Maxie did the talking on both of their behalves. A habbit Rave had picked up. Around new wolves, he usually stayed silent, while Maxie did all the talking for them.
Rave's eyes flicked over Spark then he did the same to Shaylee. Were both of them sisters? Their coats looked completely different...though he couldn't use that as an argument, for the same case was for Maxie and himself.

As was the way with these females, also, Shaylee was the quieter, unless she knew the wolf she was speaking to, and Spark was the one who spoke- generally for both of them.
"Hello."
Simple and direct were two words often used to describe Shaylee's words, though she did in fact accompany her words with a nod to Maxie, then a nod to Rave, gaze washing over both, for the time being.
"I'm Spark, this is my sister, Shaylee. And who are you two?"
Pretty well-spoken for her age, Spark dropped down into a sit, ignoring the sparks rushing from her body to the ground, and tilting her head curiously, studying both Maxie and Rave much in the same way that Shaylee had- Spark was always trying to behave more like the older sister she loved so very much.
Muzzle twitching, Shaylee's condensing gaze stayed on Rave for a moment, before she silently moved forwards slightly, standing above the sitting form of her sister, ignoring the sparks flying from Spark's fur and hitting her whilst her paws stayed in contact with Spark's body, though, after a few moments, Shaylee winced and widened her stance slightly so that Spark's seated body was still between her forepaws, though Shaylee was now no longer getting repeatedly zapped.

“I’ma Maxie. An’ that’s my brother Rave.” Maxie said, smiling widely as she looked up at Rave, who had moved behind his sister. Rave just nodded silently, to confirm what Maxie had said.
The way Maxie had talked with much less sophisticated then an adult’s talking. She was, after all, still only a pup.
Maxie’s eyes lit up as she saw the sparks flying from the other pup’s fur.
“Awesome! You ‘ave sparks comin’ outta your fur!” The small pup exclaimed, her eyes widened in amazement as she smiled widely.
Rave’s ears meanwhile just flicked. Now wasn’t this rather interesting? The other pup, Spark, seemed to match her name extremely well. For Spark seemed to have actual sparks flying from her fur, and apparently if you touched her, you’d get zapped.
Maxie smiled, she always seemed to have some sort of a grin on her face, before she leaned back, leaning into Rave’s foreleg.

Looking up at Shaylee, who's head was currently tilted down towards Spark with a confused expression on her face, Spark smiled to her sister, then smiled to Maxie.
"Yep. Jus' don't touch me, 'kay?"
Spark knew all too well what would happen to the hyperactive little pup if Maxie touched her- the word zap sprung to mind. Tail flicking beside her, and sending a cluster of sparks into the air around the fluffy appendage, Spark let her own ears flick back in an imitation of Rave, giggling softly as she did so.
"Err, right."
Blinking, Shaylee shifted back slightly, and sat back on her haunches, careful now not to touch Spark- for, when excited or scared, Spark's electricity could hurt all the more- and Shaylee didn't particularly want to have jelly-like legs at the moment; which was the sensation that the sparks often caused.

Maxie smiled as she nodded. She noticed that Spark seemed to act a lot like Shaylee. Maxie didn’t want that. She liked acting young, and being hyper. She liked the way she was different from Rave. If she had acted like Rave, she would have to admit, she would be rather boring.
Rave smirked slightly as he moved the leg Maxie was leaning on ever so slightly. The small pup squeaked as fell back, only to fall back on Rave’s leg with an ‘oomph’. Maxie gave a soft growl as she looked up at Rave, who just shrugged innocently.
Maxie had moved up, so she wasn’t leaning on Rave, just sitting under him.
“Hey, hey! Wanna go play?” Maxie asked, smiling as her eyes lit up, the question that every pup was bound to ask each other sooner or later. Maxie didn’t get to play with others that were even around her size, so she liked to take advantage of the chance of playing with someone that wasn’t an adult.
Rave’s smirk slowly melted into a soft smile. He knew that question was coming for spark…sooner or later. So he just sat back, and waited for the other pup’s reply.

Kriar
Running and trying to find home, his mother, his sister Shyna, Kriar whimpered as umfamiliar voices hit his ears, though he was usually hyperactive, he wasn't used to other wolfs. Ears tucked down and tail tucked between his legs, the young black and white pup walked slowly in, looking at his paws as he stumbled into Rave.

Rave's eyes widened in surprise as Kriar stumbled into him. Raising an eyebrow, he gently touched the young pup's maw with his tail, telling Kriar it was alright.
Maxie whipped around quickly, seeing Kriar. She smiled widely as she realized that it was another pup.
"Hi! Who might yous be?" she said, her dark blue eyes flashing playfully. She lowered her front into a mock-bow, her rump sticking up and her tail wagging quickly in the air, a sign among pups for play.
Rave's peircing amber eyes were still locked on Kriar.
"Who might you be, little one?" Rave murmured, the first words he had said since Spark and Shaylee had appeared.

Kriar
Lifting his ears up slowly, his tail curved out. Looking up at first Rave with his soft, deep blue eyes then to playful Maxie. "I-I'm Kriar" he mumbled shyly, tail wagging slowly at the other pups, maybe... maybe he could just play once.

Mouth opening to respond to Maxie, Spark instead satisfied herself with a happy squeak upon seeing the third pup, her tail waving frantically from side to side as she stood up, sparks flying from her coat with the simple movement.
"Kriar, wan'a come play with me an' Maxie?"
Smile fluttering across her expression, eyes glittering delightedly, Spark quickly jumped down slightly, so that her front paws slid out in front of her and her rear in the air, then batted at the air, lightly, with one paw, before leaping away to jump into a pile of autumn leaves close by, yips of delight escaping her muzzle.
Watching Spark rush away, Shaylee smiled slightly, before her gaze shifted back to the black-and-white pup, her tail flicking slightly as if too reassure the pup.
"Where're your parents, Kriar?"

"Yeah! Come an' play with us!" Maxie barked, a joyful giggle excaping her muzzle as she jumped into the pile of the leaves after Spark, making a loud crunch as she rolled around in them, playfull barks excaping her maw once in a while.
A small, barely noticable smile graced Rave's maw. "Go on...you want to play with them, don't you?" He asked, his tail swishing around beside him. Shaylee's question had perked his curiousity. Where were Kriar's parents?

Kriar
Kriar's eyes twisted in sadness, his tail stopped wagging and his whole body almost went limp. At this moment, you'd never guess he was hyper-active. Kriar's soft blue eyes looked from Shaylee to Rave, then to his own small paws. "I don't know where my parents are"

Spark giggled as Maxie joined her in the leaves, careful not to come into contact with the other pup's body as she 'swam' around in the pile. At the words of Shaylee, then Kriar, though, Spark's ears flattened back against her skull, pity seeping into her eyes. She leapt out of the leaf pile, rushing over to Kriar and softly nudging him with her nose- careful not to let any of her fur touch his.
Feeling so idiotic as to have mentioned something which obviously cut him to the core, Shaylee slowly drew towards Kriar, muzzle lowering and gently nuzzling him- to make the small pup not feel so bad. Her ears were, like her younger sister's, pulled back against her skull, her eyes glittering with unshed tears- she knew the trauma that enveloped a pup when it lost it's parents- Spark had, in fact, been through that- and although neither spoke of it, nor had Spark ever said anything whatsoever, Shaylee knew without doubt that their parents were dead- that the whole pack, in fact, was.
Suddenly, Shaylee felt much less cursed than this pup must have- despite her having an actual curse.

Rave's ears flicked sympathetically. This was almost the same thing that happened for Maxie and himself. Neither of them knew if their parent's were even still alive, and it was still a touchy subject for Maxie whenever their parents were brought up.
Maxie's ears drew back as the wide smile on her maw quickly melted away. She knew how Kriar felt, she had felt the same thing for practically her whole life. Digging her way out of the pile of leaves, she gave her long coat a quick shake as she padded slowly towards Kriar, her ears drawing back.
Even if her parent's were gone, she still had Rave, her only family left. Kriar didn't have an older sibling with him.
"It's h'okay. I won't really be your Momma or Daddy, but I'll be your friend?" Maxie offered with a soft whimper towards Kriar, giving him a soft, small smile.
