+ BRAEDEN +
His sides heaved heavily as Braeden slowed to a stop. He could feel his mind screaming in hapiness. Joy. He was jumbliant. Jovial.
He and Amaris and rid themselves of Koen. The evil wolf that had tracked them down and added the excitement of danger into their lives. They had made it away from him and Pewter Creek safely. Braeden's tail throbbed, bu the wind would ease his pain. His mind still screaming in this strange happiness, Braeden looked around. A few strands of sunlight streamed in from the tall, looming canopy of trees. The lush, dark grass tickled his paws and his legs. A crumbling structure of a dark, deep hollow was in the midist of it all, off to the side a bit.
Wow.
his breath of words shot out of his mouth as he took all of the scenery in. He then looked around again, waiting for Amaris to appear.

.::Amaris::.
The woodland behind gave a light rustle of movement and the fae appeared, her long, mixed brown fur blown in the wind slightly, azure optics blooming in curiousity. Her trot steadied to a walk, and she halted beside Braedan, taking this unusual place in slowly, a look of utter wonder struck 'pon her facade. She lightly giggled in her excitement, quivering once and turning to Braedan, delightful smile painted across her mug.
"So this is it. We're rouges?"

Braeden grinned, looking at Amaris.
Now, now, Amaris, isn't the term rouges a bit harsh?
he teased playfully.
But I guess we are. Apparently.

She giggled gently, gnawing his white ear affectionatly, and playfully. Azure optics scanned the area, while she absent-mindedly did so, plume swishing excitedly as she viewed the amazing hollow, its crumling state adding to the creepy effect of it all. She smiled to herself. This would be perfect. Obviously, being rouges now, they had no pack to be "loyal" too. No friends to make, no setting to get bored of. They had each other, and could come and go as they pleased. This sunny prospect made her heart leap inside her, and her bushy brown tail thud on the ground happily.

Braeden licked her cheek, his ears twitching in affection for amaris. This would be the perfect place. Coming and going as they liked. It was wonderful.
It's nice, isn't it?
he asked.
The omnious feeling makes it feel strangely....home-y.

She gazed up at him wide-eyed, feeling the warm brush against her cheek she turned, summing up the place while nuzzling into Braedan's fur.
"It is. Its perfect..."

Braeden twitched his ears softly, feeling Amaris's warmth spread through him.
Well....I guess we should get something to eat now....all that running sure did wear me out. How about you?

.::Amaris::.
"Sure."
She yawned briefly, lids drooping briefly over her cyan optics in her tiredness. Still, she was determined to stay awake, she wanted to hunt for the first time with Braedan.
"What should we take? Deer? Poultry? Whatever we want, we can probably find it in there..."
She said softly, nodding her head towards the crumbling hollow.

Braeden looked thoughtful for a moment.
How about deer?
he mused. It had been quite a long while since he had tasted deer.

"Sure."
She said absent-mindedly, breaking her cranium away from the warm, soft fur of Braedan's neck, and getting to her feet.
"Lets go..."

All right, then.
Braeden the snapped his head to the side, hearing a rustling deep within the woods near the small field. Braeden stood silently, his eyes watching, his fur bristling as he waited. As soon as the creature within starting to crawl out, Braeden dashed forward, and tustled gravely in the bushes before returning, eyes narrowed, with a squirrel. His eyes darkened, he walked back to Amaris.
A squirrel!
he said, dropping the dead, limp squirrel.
All that for a squirrel!

She giggled lightly, noting the bemused, darkened look 'pon his facade. Her plume waved absent-mindedly behind her, and she licked his cheek encouragingly.
"Never mind...lets both go deeper."

That is an extremely good idea. Maybe we'll find the master squirrel and we'll be able to take him down for sending his little minions of squirrel troops to close to the border of the trees were we might mistake them as actual food.
Braeden laughed, his darkened eyes shining.

She laughed, optyics gleaming as she sauntered past, cranium and plume held high. She stopped at the hollow, turning and waiting for her rouge partner to follow, her expression tired but determined.
"Lets just focus on the deer, eh?"

Yeah. Let's do that.
Braeden said, grinning, walking after her, his paws soundlessly pressing down the grass as he walked swiftly.
