Her tongue lolled out insanely, her eyes darkening grandly. Solace's pessimistic expression scanned the soft hills, her ears twitching. Her dark grey fur sparkled in the soft sunlight, the black bands on her legs strumming back and fourth as she walked.
Solace tossed her eyes to the ground and focused grandly. Her eyes seemed to glow as she focused on the lush dark grass before her. The scents around her pressed against her and she drank in their sweet aroma as her feeling collided with the eath.
Mist rose out of the ground and three identical, seemingly solid figures of Solace formed around her. Solace let out a barking laugh. Her powers still worked!
She closed her dark black eyes and the illusions dissapeared.
Solace was back in the habit, and as fierce and dangerous as ever. Her mates were gone, and she was free from their stupid love-sickness suck-ness.
She laughed. A cold cruel laugh. Her laugh was icy and cold.
Her laugh was deadened as her other five mates.

Her tread was soft, her movements quick. The smell of smoke filled the air. Too many times she had tried it. Too many times she had failed. Too many times... until now. Stormy optics focused 'pon the terra beneath her obsidian mitts. Thought the skies were bright and joyous, she appeared to have a dark cloud hovering over her very form.
"Well, well, well. How many did you kill that time, two? Or was it three?
A bitter laugh resounded, echoing the harsh words spoken to none other then herself. Was this one insane? Some would say so. All would agree that she was disturbed, in the least.
The fur covering her body was suprisingly soft for a varg, especially for one who smelt of as much smoke as she. The only clear thing left on her lithe form was her storm-grey eyes. The clear pools, full of longing, were the only thing left to betray her anguish, her pain, and her suffering.
Cranium snapped sideways, eyes widening in disbelief before returning to their usual appearance.
"Damn this mind, and it's memories... that damned Rin was haunting me again..."
Angrily, she tilted her head to the skies and let out a howl. It conveyed no message of sadness, lonliness, or the like. Resonating 'cross the hills, the sound of hatred and anger sent animals fleeing to their homes, trembling in fear at the cold fury of it all.

Wicked smirk faded from her orifice, her lips curling back into a snarl. Solace padded forward, looking around, her eyes gleaming. The scent of another wolf had tainted her being. Who had dared interrupt her momentary insanity moment?
Who's there>?
her cracked across the clearing, short and snappy, crackling like electricity as her call echoed. Solace twitched her ears, waiting. Her black eyes skirted the hills in her search for the source of the howl.

Cranium snapped back down, eyes flashing with anger and nervousness. Auds twitched back and forth as she, too, scanned the hills for the varg who had spoken.
"I could ask you the same thing, speaker. You've given me no reason to trust you with my name."
Bitter, snappish words, though spoken quietly, could be heard far and wide. She stood on a ledge, the width of which could be no more then two yards. The rocky formation protruded from the side of one of the hills, near to the top. Her vantage point showed her much, but she could not locate the one who had called out.
OOC// Sorry... I got a little uninspired towards the end...

Solace growled, her pessimistic eyes darkening.
Come fourth, stranger!
she hissed, her words echoing into the air.
Before I force you!
her words seethed through her mouth, her eyes glistening evilly. Solace twitched her ears, her ears skirting the clearing, searching out with her senses.

Insane laughter followed these last words. Oh, she would come all right. But when she wanted to.
"Hmm, we might as well put this new skill to use... at least, until I know who is speaking to me."
Feline leaps took her from ledge to ledge, down the mountainside. As her hind mitts left each sliver of rock behind, flames burst upwards, a signal to the speaker of where she was... or had been. The scent of smoke filled the air for a good mile or two, partially blocking out her faint scent. The more fire that was created, the more she blended in with the charred odor.
Eyes scanned each new horizon as she landed, warily searching for she who dared command her.
"Force me? Force ME? Hah. She wishes. Let us go see who it is that wishes to meet me."
Her lithe form moved swiftly, looking much like the shadows that she ran in. Silent steps took her nearer and nearer to the speaker, the smoky air protecting her from prying eyes and snouts.

Fear was not an emotion that Solace shared; in fact, she echoed the laughter, her own cackle as wicked and haunting as her eyes. Her skilled eyes followed the shadows and the flames, trying to locate the female. Solace locked her eyes onto the ground, her eyes swimming in their own dark pits as she focused.
Fear is not an emotion I have, fool.
she growled.
Who is speaking to you? Well, that depends. Who would you like to meet? Double three or double twenty?
Solace's senses rammed into the ground, a soft shake rocketing up and down the hills. The female kept her ground as around twenty-five shots of mist curled in from the air, each taking the form of her, looking as so-called solid clouds. As she sneered to the air, each of her doubles copied her. Solace's features lit up with an insane smile.
Let me introduce you to Solace's two through twenty-five. Who's laughing now, you silly little fire wolf.

She stopped abruptly, noting the appearance of another 25.
What are these things? They seem not to be varg, nor any other kind or lera... yet they seem identical to the original one.
As an extra hint of protection, she set another, near microscopic flame. Her scent blended in perfectly with the smoke in the air now, though her pelt would regain some of it's original scent sooner or later. Eyes stared warily about her. She was not one to fear, much like the other, but she had the common sense to know when to be cautious. Smirking slightly, she decided to use another trick she had picked up from the humans - the ability to throw her voice.
"Who's laughing? Well, apparently, you, but I don't see why that should bother me. 'Silly little fire wolf', isn't that what you said? I've been called many things, but never that one. So, is that your name after all? Solace? Very well, then, Solace, would you like to know who - and where - I am, or not?"
Her voice had turned sarcastically good natured, and her words echoed about the hills. If that she-wolf wanted to trace the original sound, it would be hard enough, but it would lead her far, far west of where she was actually sitting. Perhaps she was testing this Solace's patience. Oh well. All the better then.

Of course.
Solace's tone was level and placid; hints of coldness dotted her voice. The grass ruffled softly as her doubles slowly faded, molding back into their creator. Solace moved her eyes around, searching for something else she could illusion; something she could use to strike fear into this wolf. This...this.... strange wolf.

Bit by bit, the walls of smoke and fog dissapeared, fading away into the sky. Though her form was dark, the smoky air before her did not fade, protecting her as silent mitts took her ever closer to this Solace.
Hmm... this is close enough... let us see what this one will do.
Having sighted Solace, the f'mmora took a moment to strengthen her power, as well as survey the land afore her, simply to make sure that she was not to be surrounded. Noting that Solace was alone, she allowed the smoke to fade away from her. Piercing eyes flashed as her cold gaze swept 'cross once more before stoping on Solace.
"So. You are the one who tries to frighten me."
Though she was fully visible to the outside world now, her pelt still smelt completely of smoke, as if she had emerged unscathed from a fire. How similar that idea was, infact, to the truth. For a long while, her scent would be hidden, in case the need to run came up.
She stopped a suitable distance away from Solace, approximately two yards away, warily watching all that went on about her.

Solace spun he eyes upon the female before her, her expression darkening.
Yes.
her reply was short and snappy, witty and tainted with cold. She brushed her senses with the eart again and hundreds of mist coils swarmed around her and the female before her. She pushed her way through the illusions and stood before the female, extremely close to the other now.
Have i scared you yet? Because my friends and I can do so much more. They are my will, wolf. You can't break them.

Eyes widened slightly as the illusions arose, but, suprisingly, not in fear.
"Scared me? No. However, I don't think I would want to break these lovely little creations of yours. Very interesting, they are."
Pausing a moment, the female's face twisted into something slightly resembling a smile.
"Since you've told me your name, I suppose I should tell you mine. I am called Chii."
Chii paused again, eyeing the figures. Though they were made from the earth, she knew that simple flames alone could not destroy them.
"Is there any certain reason that you wish to frighten me? Or do you simply seek to gain reassurance for your own problems?
She knew she was taking a risk, but that had never stopped her in the past.
"Oh, yes. They are your will, 'tis true, but this is mine."
Chii took a step backwards, so as not to unintentionally burn Solace, and set a ring of flames around herself. The smell of smoke once again came from her pelt, as she stood there, protected by flames that would not, could not, advance inwards without her consent.

Solace ignored the ring of fire as she stared at Chii, her her eyes sparkling as if every demon of darkness had spun into her eyes. Her expression was blank, bland; unreadable.
I do not have problems, Chii.
Solace murmured darkly.
Others have problems with me. My reason to scare you? You could say it's a hobby.

For the first time in a long, long time, a real smile appeared on Chii's face. The fires around her burnt out simultaneously.
"I see. It seems as if we have this one thing in common. Though I prefer to practice my arts on the humans."
Well it is the truth... I don't intentionally kill other vargs... except that one... and that other one... hmm...
Chii sat down, thinking.
"What, exactly, is this power of yours? What can they do? I don't mean this in a critical way, I'm just interested."
Her whole personality had changed. When she wanted to be, Chii could be quite personable. The thing is, she usually didn't want to be.
OOC// Ack, short, sorry...

( I'm out on the main computer, and everything's soooo different! I'm used to the TouchPad and keyboard of my laptop!
Oh, the insanity of being on at 6:48 in the morning... )

My power? Illusions.
she stated simply.
I use them to double myself when I meet someone to puzzle and alarm them. Other times I use them to strike fear into people; you know, creating illusions of the dead.
She grinned, her eyes sparkling.
It's quite fun, really. Though, my illusions allways seem to have brought death to the most strangest of subjects.....and that seriouslyt wasn't my intention, though.
Solace laughed a bit to herself. The thought of her dead five overs made her smile inside. Especially the last one, the radioactive wolf/robot with the social problems who thgrew himself into a volcano that exploded into a toxic waste dump.
