~Riddle~
He flashed a charming smile, his muscular form helping himself onto his feet easily. He spoke happily, in a friendly tone:
"Hello, am I right in presuming you've come to join my pack?"
He noted the femmora's nervousness, the stance she was in, head low, tail lifeless. Once again, as with Sandswept, she was quite an attractive lithe thing. Her tone sweet and innocent, but he could hear the panic and fear in her lyrics also.

Breeze smiled as she rose her tender head. "My calling would be Breeze m'lord. What may be yours?" she had a slight accent to her voice, also still calm and low, tail still wrapped around her like it was protecting her from harm. Breeze bowed her head as she rose it back and looked at his neck. She dared not look into the alpha's eyes for to her it would be disrespect.

"Breeze? You couldn't find a finer name for a young lady..."
He smiled, noting the accent and calm tone. She still seemed very nervous, yet seriously polite as though frightened. Her dubbance suited the airy lithe femma well.
"Mine would be Riddle, pleased to meet you."

No howl, seeking permission to enter the terrain, fell from the lips of a slim, though not overly so, female wolf, her paws leading her in the best direction towards the scents of wolves- three females and a male, if her senses showed the truth. Oh, how she longed to part her muzzle, to release a song as she had never before been given a chance to. But, instead, she kept her dreams, her wishes, silent- locked inside her mind, for the pleasure, and pain, of herself, and herself only.
But, then again- she had no choice on whether she wished to speak out to the world, to speak of her dreams, her hopes.
For she was Mute.
She was getting closer to the wolves now, her ears pricking up as the sounds of voices reached her. She neither sped up nor slowed down, merely continuing forth in her brisk pace, tail flicking almost lazily behind her. But laziness was not on her mind- in fact, this shy, skittish wolf was beginning to doubt her decision on asking, or rather- trying to ask, other wolves to aid her in her search for her sisters- Azura, the Deaf wolf, and Tosca, the Blind wolf.
Finally, her silent tread slowed to a stop, blue-tipped tail flicking simply once, before she sat beside a low tree close by, her eyes on the group, no way of communicating to them unless they noticed her. Though, her nerves still shot and her confidence shattered enough to make her every movement slow and careful, she flicked her muzzle up at the lowest branch on the tree, fur and flesh slapping against bark and leaves, making a soft noise, followed by a rustle, before she pulled her scarred muzzle back down to it's former position, gaze snapping back to the Alpha and his company- two of the three females she had scented.
She could hear their voices, and longed more than ever for the ability to speak. But she could not, so she just stayed in her seated position, awaiting her time to be addressed, curious as to how these wolves would react to her disability.
The grey-blue furred female kept her bright, blue gaze on the three wolves, no sound ever escaping her throat, not a cough, a whine, nor a syllable. She longed to do such meagre things, but cast the thoughts aside- she longed to be reunited with her sisters more than she longed for the ability to speak.

Breeze smiled and if wolves could blush her face would be a light pink. "Riddle you say" her voice quiet and calm. "Reminds me of a player, a joker, one not to take very seriously, but I am sure you aren't like that m'lord. You seem very trust worthy." Breeze bowed her head still facing him.
Breeze hears perked up as he head rose higher. "Another wolf" she said more loudly, her kneen nose could pick up the other wolf's scent. She quickly turned around not seeing the wolf clearly but knew she was there and quickly faced riddle once again as she stood and sat beside him but made sure it wasn't to close as her head lowered. Her tail now wrapped around her as it gently tapped the firm ground.

He gave a small smile to her, believing her confidence was blooming. The words she had used to descride him...they seemed...pretty accurate now he thought about it. He'd never really known himself, if you know what I mean. He could never describe his personality in his head, and he always needed someone to describe it for him. Even then, a majority of who he asked didn't know either...
Audials perked, straining. He could hear some soft mitts padding the earth, but they were faint...gentle, very gentle. As a breeze swept through the realm he caught a long whiff of the new wolven, another female, he presumed. He decieded to see if the new female would introduce herself, otherwise, he would have to investigate himself.

Muzzle twitching, tail flicking softly, Skye rose to her feet, ears shooting back against her skull, as the ground beneath her paws creaked and groaned, and she glanced down curiously, wondering as to why the ground itself could speak, yet she hadn't been gifted with such an ability.
Had she been able, a sigh would have fallen from her lips as she wearily padded forth, into a clearer view of the male and his companions. Silent, as always, she gave a simple dip of her muzzle, tail flicking once to show she meant no harm, bright, blue eyes 'pon the three before her. Oh, how she longed to speak out to them, to say what her actions were for. Though, as per normal, not a single sound emerged from her muzzle, and she sat again, this time in clear view of all three, bright eyes shifting from one wolf to the next, until they rested 'pon the male she believed to be the Alpha of the lands; solely because of his more dominant posture, and because the females appeared to be flanking him.
A twitch of her muzzle and a flick of her ears was all that she could use to communicate with the three, her gaze floating again around each of the wolves before her, this time not resting upon Riddle, but continuing, curiously asking about the wolves without words.

He blinked. Finding the female's entrance quite peculiar. He bowed his head to her reespectfully, and then inspected her with emerald optics glazed with wonder.
Her movements very natural...her gaze curiously floating from one to one in turn, as though asking questions with different expressions...
"Hello."
He spoke calmly, his mind racing to conclusions of the femme's silent greeting. A confidence problem? Maybe ill? He couldn't quite grasp the conclusion, but sat high and patiently awaited the femma's reply why watching her with utmost interest.

Skye cursed herself for not being able to part her muzzle and reply to the male's words, so instead, she satisfied herself with a nod, a slight smile floating across her expression, her gaze now drawn solely to him, her curiousity equal to his intrigue.
Blue-tipped tail flicking beside her, before curling around her paws- a movement she had done ever since her youthful days as a pup. She wasn't alone in using the movement as a source of comfort- her sisters, too, had done the same, though she was the only one out of the three who still did the motion frequently.
Blue-grey fur waved in a sudden breeze, and her eyelids slid together, muzzle rising towards the sky, obviously enjoying the feeling of the breeze 'pon her body. Her muzzle parted, as if too howl, and she suddenly remembered the reason she could not, and let her muzzle drop back down to the right height, her eyes gleaming as she stared patiently to Riddle, not a sound emitting from her body at any time, save for the soft rustle of fur stroking against fur as she lifted her muzzle and returned it to normal height.

His facade a picture of pure confusion, he watched the femme raise her dial to the sky. Bemused, he followed her gaze as though hypnotised, hoping for some kind of clue that would help him find the simple answer to the question he asked. The soft, pastel colours of the morning autumn sky met his optics, glowing oranges created by the burning sun beyond, slashes and patches of indigo blended in perfectly with the warm colour. He pondered for a moment, gazing at the open sky until it finally clicked.
"Oh! Skye!"
He exclaimed delightedly, looking across to the femme, features lit up, waiting patiently for a nod or a shake of the head to confirm his what seemed wild thought.

Skye's muzzle quickly moved up, then down in a nod to confirm his guess, blue-tipped tail flicking gently beside her. If she could, she would have confirmed his guess with a 'yes', or even just a murmur to indicate he'd guessed her name correctly, but since that was impossible for her, she had settled herself with simply nodding.
[glow=blue,2,300]Silence is me, no sound will I ever make.[/glow]
Another breeze stroked her fur, like a child stroking a small animal, such as a rabbit, and her eyes closed happily again, before snapping open to look once more, though this time with more intrigue than anything else at all save for a healthy dose of respect, at Riddle.
[glow=blue,2,300]Nothing short of a miracle would give me the ability to speak.[/glow]
Slowly, she moved her gaze from Riddle to the silent females flanking him, her head tilting to the left, her eager gaze sliding across, first, Sandswept, then, second, Breeze. She gave a small half-smile to each, before turning her gaze back to Riddle, glancing up at the sky, then back down at him, head tilted in an almost-comical way; she was trying to ask him his name.

"Oh, please forgive me, I'm Riddle."
Lyrics quavered, desperatly trying to keep the volume out of his tone. He tilted his head, his cheeky, charming grin spread across his facade. He thought he knew now. The female was mute.
He had never met another like herself before, but he had heard. As he gazed at the silent female he wondered, what must it be like without the ability to speak? What must it be like to be her? He could not even imagine, it was entirely impossible.
The north wind swept in again, scents of others reaching him and he inhaled deeply. A male and a female. He presumed anyway. They were near, very near. A small look of wonder passed his facade before rising to his paws.
"Excuse me ladies, I must excuse myself briefly. The scent of others are on the wind."
Another charming grin flashed their way, and cranium held high, white socks picking up high from the ground, he quickened his pace and followed the slowly growing scent of wolf. He never knew pack life could be so exaughsting. With it's mysterys and wonder topped high with responsibilities too. And you know what? He was loving every moment of it.
((Eh, no muse.))

[glow=blue,2,300]If you tell me a secret, I have no choice but to keep it silent.[/glow]
Once again, Skye's muzzle rose and fell quickly; another nod on her behalf, though this time, the nod was merely an aknowledgement of Riddle's introduction of himself. Her muzzle rose again, though not in another nod, as the scent of other wolves carried in from close by, and she knew that there wasn't two wolves- there was three. Her other senses had developed further to benefit her inability to speak.
[glow=blue,2,300]A birthday wish will never pass my lips- for that is my curse, and it always will be so.[/glow]
As Riddle, too, caught the scent of the others, Skye felt her ears prick up at his words, her head tilting calmly. She hesitated for a moment, before standing, nodding to each of the females, before padding softly in the direction Riddle at, nose raised into the air to keep his scent with her, and the scent of the others, too. Her blue-tipped tail flicked at her rear as her paws carried her forth, towards the other wolves 'pon Riddle's land.
[glow=blue,2,300]Agreeing with you is what I always must do.[/glow]
