It's not completly finished, but I'm working on it. I did have one story, but my mom had her computer fixed, and everything was deleted, so I have to re-type the story x3
Upon the sides of the mountain, the softening snow lightly falls from the new coming winter. The Alphena rested a paw onto a rock, gazing down at the caribou with her oceanic colored optics. Watching them graze. Eventually they will carry on to another location. This will be harder for the wolven to find a good source of food. Her grayish-blue pelt shimmered in the newly winter winds, hiding her watery-like wings. A few yards from her, her older brother glared anxiously with his cold, crimson optics. He glanced up at his younger sister. “Sashta,” he called her named. “They are beginning to leave.”
The Alphena held her position, as she waited for the correct moment to strike. She noticed a young calf was falling behind. This might just be the right time, knowing, for a herd of caribou, keeping up, or be hunted. Sashta howled gracefully, this was it. Night-Scar, the older brute of Sashta, nodded, releasing his flaming wings from his blackened pelt, as he quickly took off. Sashta waited behind, watching Scar dive in towards the calf. It only took seconds for the calf to give in. Sashta released her watery-like wings, flapping them vigorously, as she headed back for the dens. Scar carried along the calf, placing it next to the other game they had captured.
“T’is to be a graceful day.” Sashta sighed, as her tender words released from her maw. Scar only nodded in answer, as he padded up to the spring, soaking his entire head. Feeling the scar across his left optic sting slightly. He prodded his head up, shaking it dry. Sashta flickered her harks, listening to the wind send the beautiful melodies of the calling wolven. Sashta smiled ever so tenderly, pointing her maw into the heavens, releasing a soft, moist howl, which echoed across the trees.
Scar glanced over at Sashta, noticing she was rather anxious. “Shall I be in search of them?” he asked, in his low, bone-chilling tone. Shasta fixed her gaze onto her older brother, as she rested on her rock. “No, let them come if that is what they wish to do.” She replied in a tender tone. Scar nodded. “As it is.” He replied in a bow. “As it is.”
Sashta watched her brother wander off into the thickened forest. She sighed, as though she sensed something was bothering him, but never really asked him.
“Good day m’lady.” Sashta heard a brute’s voice. She fixed her optics, noticing a navy blue and white brute, gazing up at her. “Can I help you brujo?” Sashta spoke, as the tender words came out of her maw. “Forgive me.” Spoke the new coming brute. “My calling is Juneau, in search of a pack to join, t’is you be thine Alphena?” Sashta gave Juneau a peculiar look, but nodded. “Thine calling is Sashta, and I do own these lands.” She smiled. “I welcome you into my pack, though, it’s just you, my brother and I.” she sighed. “I have yet to see another wolven for a while.” Juneau smiled. “Ah, don’t feel ashamed, I’ve yet to see other wolven about as well.” Sashta sighed. “This is the Kôhana Forest. This land has been alive for over many generations. And now, I get the chance to be the Alphena, as soon I’ll be able to pass it down to one of my pups.” Juneau nodded in reply. “You have such a beautiful land here, now…please excuse me, I’m off for a hunt.” Sashta nodded as she watched the new coming brute leave.
“Mistress Sashta!!” called out a familiar voice.
Sashta turned her direction to see her adorable little fox-friend, Teiko. Sashta smiled with pleasure, as the little black fox softly landed onto the earthen floor. Teiko; like said before, had blackened pelt, with black feathery wings. A red bandanna wrapped around his neck. His auburn optics gleamed with excitement as he began his chattering towards Sashta. “Sashta!
I-I saw wolven! I think they’re coming here!!” Teiko seemed so excited.
[How these two met, was a rather uncanny experience, Sashta was around 6 weeks of age…pondering around the edge of the stream. She was still trying to learn how to fly. Her watery wings were spread out wearily. Not knowing how to balance out the winds and the grounds, as well as keeping balance while in the air itself. “Sashta…how far have you been able to get off the ground?” Sakana; her mother had spoken as she came from the bushes. Sashta sighed. “Not quite mother…why must you push me into things that are difficult to do?” Sakana tilted her head slightly. “Flying isn’t difficult at all, just keep at it.” She nodded at that as she pondered off. Sashta sighed, turning at her wings, as pool of water surrounded her. “Ah, you have trouble with wings as well?” spoke a small voice from behind her. Sashta snapped around to see a little black fox, his blackened wings held up, as though he were to get ready to take off. Sashta stared at the strange little creature, for she had never seen something so adorable and bigger than field mice, but smaller than a pup.
“Who-What are you?” Sashta stammered in a confused tone, eyeing the little black fox. “Ah, Teiko…and…I’m a fox, who you?” he asked in incomplete words. Sashta giggled. “I’m Sashta, and I’m a wolfess, you stand in the Kôhana Forest era as we speak.” Teiko looked down at the ground, then back up at Sashta. There was a moment of silence. Teiko shook his head. “You learn how to fly?” he asked. Sashta tilted her head. “I’m still learning. How about yourself?” Teiko perked up but shook his head. “I’ve only been able to hover, and balance out the wind.” Sashta gave a thoughtful look. “Teach me.” She spoke point blankly. Teiko perked up his harks, and tilted his head in confusion. “Pardon? Teach you? Why…I’m only a fox, you are much bigger than I.” Sashta giggled lightly, as she shook her head. “Size doesn’t matter you silly little fox…” Teiko nodded, but gave a hesitant look. “Right…, well…first, you spread out your wings, like so…Have them tilted upward slightly, letting them let loosened as well.” Sashta gave her full attention, as she did as what Teiko had said. Teiko pulled his head back, noticing Sashta was paying attention, but only nodded. “Okay, now that you seem leveled out, flap your wings, and jump!” Teiko cheered with a cheesy grin across his face. Sashta nodded, as she flapped her wings, and lowered to the ground, then came up quickly, as she was high off the ground. “Oh wow!” Sashta giggled. “Thank you Teiko.” Teiko smiled. “A pleasure.” He replied. Sashta nodded; “Perhaps you could come meet our pack?” Teiko gave an uneasy look. “Hmm…well I supposed it shan’t be too terribly bad.” He spoke. “Why not?” he smiled reluctantly. Sashta smiled. “Okay, follow me!” And with that, Teiko was to be welcomed into the pack, and from that day on, the two were the best of friends.]
Sashta turned, and smiled. “I know Teiko, I can here them in the distant land.” She smiled. Teiko nodded in a bow. “As do I also notice you have a welcoming brute into your pack no?” Sashta smiled. “Yes, Juneau is the welcoming brute.” She spoke, as she as well heard a rustling in the bushes. “Hm?” Sashta then had gotten rather curious. By the appearance of the bushes, a fem, and a pup appeared. Sashta tilted her head lightly, as the fem tiresomely approached her. “Mama, you need to rest.” The pup whimpered. “What seems the trouble?” the little black fox spoke with his hidden Irish tone. The small pup whimpered. “Mama’s hurt.” He replied. Sashta gave a hesitant sigh, as the wounded fem spoke. “Forgive my intrusion.” She breathlessly, she then collapsed into a faint. “Don’t worry pup,” she smiled lightly. “I’ll help your mother.” She spoke, carefully lifting the fem by her scruff, and dragged her to the den. “What on earth’s creation has happened to you?” she asked under her breath scanning the fem. “The humans came.” The pup spoke. Sashta gave a thoughtful look. ‘It’s too early for them to be out hunting.’ She thought. “What’s your name pup?” Sashta asked, as she began to mix up herbs, and water together, forming and oozy like substance. The pup then perked up. “Flick.” He answered shyly. Sashta nodded with a smile, spreading the ooze like substance over the wounded fem. Flick gazed upon, of wondering what the Alphena was doing to his mother. “Is mama gonna be okay?” He asked, with a hopeless look. “Hm?” Sashta perked up. “Your mother just needs rest, she’ll be fine.”
Flick smiled, and yipped slightly in pleasement.
Night-Scar soon approached in the picture. “Sashta-“he was cut off at the sight of the wounded fem. Sashta glanced up. “They’ve come early.” She replied to his on coming warning. Night-Scar nodded. “We do not have enough of a pack.” He spoke, as the burning of his words eased out of his maw. Sashta nodded. “We must keep at caution, of all the warnings as necessary, where is Juneau?” she asked. “In a cave behind the waterfall.” Scar replied. “He is safe for now.” Sashta nodded. “The war with man, approaches the Kôhana lands, as we may speak.” She spoke gravely. Flick only glanced up and whimpered.
{Later on in the days and nights, the wretched humans gather closer towards the Kôhana Lands. But as to that, many wolven eventually approach, feared, angered, and dishonesty, many emotions haunt the lands. ‘Together we may stand, together we shall fall’. Thence the true Alphen, from the previous lands would say.}
The ravishing, winter days slowly approach the Kôhana wolven. Masu, a young fem, approaches Sashta’s den. “M’lady.” She bowed in respect. “Humans have been spotted north of the River Valley.” She informed. Sashta nodded, “As I feared.” She sighed. “Where are the pups?” she asked. Masu glanced up. “Fenir and Moonlight are watching them. They are all safe.” She replied. Sashta nodded, as to before she could say another word, the crashing sound of a gun bled through their harks. Scar’s orders were heard thence, as Sashta prodded out from her den.
“Everyone, head into the Kôhana Forest, if we split up, it will make it more difficult for the humans to capture, and easier for us.” Sashta informed. All the wolven nodded, and scattered. “Mistress Sashta, what shall I do for you?” Teiko spoke. Sashta gave a sadden look. “My dearest friend.” She smiled. “We shall be friends forever, and I don’t want you to be found during this blood-thirsty war. Teiko, go and find a well hidden spot, I’ll come for you….one day.” She spoke, and with that she left the morning fox. “Sashta…” he whispered. “Thank you…”
The scent of blood filled the Kôhana lands. Sashta was well hidden in the bushes, preying on the humans that lay in front of her, and her good friend, Night-Feather. “This should be pretty simple.” Spoke the navy colored brute, his clear optics gazed upon the two-legged. Sashta nodded. “Take the right and left…of the east, as I’ll take the rest.” She added. Night-Feather nodded, as he silently released his angelic wings, elegantly, taking to the skies. Sashta nodded at that, to make sure he was high enough. Night-Feather nodded, and came swooping down, grasping one of the humans, by the neck. A trail of blood ran along with the two. Sashta released her dripping wings, taking off to the skies, as following what Night-Feather had done. “Good job.” Sashta yipped. “M’lady!” Claw-Feather called out, as a large net collapsed around the Alphena. “Aye! I got one!” called out a human with a British accent. Claw-Feather bared his silver-white teeth. “Oh-ho! Don’t think you can get away do yer.” The next thing he knew, Claw-Feather, was collapsed onto the ground. Sashta whimpered, as the rage released from her, struggling to break free. No use.
Sashta, Claw-Feather, and along with many other wolven were tossed in the back of a truck, loaded with many small iron or steel cages. Sashta was out cold, using up most of her energy. Hours later, Sashta awoke with her head throbbing. She scanned her surroundings, finding herself in a cage. In some sort of room. Across the room, she saw other wolven trying to escape. “M’lady! They’ve captured you!” called out a familiar voice. “Masu…” Sashta spoke breathlessly. Sashta slowly scanned around the room, coming across two figures, looking oddly familiar. Two adult wolven-stuffed. The wings, carved like water the other like flames. Sashta’s heart sank. Sadness, anger, hatred…all emotions mixed within her soul. Continually, she watched every friend, wolven, her family, be taken away…not seeing them, ever again. “Masu!” Sashta cried out, as she watched her beloved friend be taken into another room. Sashta began to attack the bars from thence kept her closed in. Unknowingly, they began to fall apart.
Finally, when there was a hole big enough, she broke free. She scanned around the room. No one. Sashta turned, and glared at the window, then to other doors, the lead to who-knows-where. Sashta released her watery-like wings, as they splashed around the area.
Quietly, she lifted in to the air, flowing out into the long halls. “Not a trace of them.” She sighed, as she began to loose hope. Her nostrils flared, at the scent on an upcoming human. Fixing her gaze upon it, she bared her fangs viciously, her talon-like claws, of silver shone clearly. The human trembled in fear, death slowly arising this particular being. Raging upon the two-legged creature, Sashta swiped at the face, blood splattering everywhere. Leaving the dead human remains, unknown.
Day turned into weeks, as they slowly turned into months, yet, Sashta soared into the deadening winter skies, searching for her home land. The whispering of the wind taunted her thoughts, and pain as she slowly approached the lands. Familiar scents soon drifted into her nostrils. Quickly, she landed unto the battle field from once she called home. “War with man…shall never end.” The winds then whispered. Corpse of humans, pups, and wolven lurk beyond the lands of the Kôhana terrain. Sashta was searching for two to be exact, thence she found one. “It can’t be….” She whispered in fear. Taking off to the one whom has carried out on with her, for years. “My kin, my best friend...my brother.” Tears rolled down from her sadden hopeless optics. She rested her head on the brutes pelt. “Thank you.” She whispered through the winds. She began to dig a deepened hole, once big enough, carefully; she dragged her beloved kin, giving him, a funeral of his own. “May the great Alphen be with you.” Sashta spoke quietly.
Quietly, she turned away, on search for her beloved fox friend. The lone, heart-breaking scene of her many befriended wolven, dead. “One day, the damned humans…shall perish in the depths of the flaming abyss of hell.” Sashta thought. “The sins, the wrong-doings they have caused.” Sashta kept herself calm from the rage that had swelled up inside of her. Her auds flickered upward lightly, rushing over to where she found a rather small cavern. Optics scanned around the area, of the darkness that a drifts across the area. “Teiko!” Sashta called out, frantically rummaging around the cave. Finally, coming across, as black, furry substance, Sashta gaped in fear. “No…” The worst is what she thought. “Friends till the end.” She spoke, nudging the lifeless fox. “Teiko…please.” Tears frantically rolled down her muzzle. Teiko was wrapped up in a small little ball, as though he was sleeping.
“He never left his position…he waited for me.” She spoke, as she picked her head up slowly. Carefully, resting herself beside her beloved lost friend. Three long days and nights, haunted the lost Kôhana Lands. Sashta never left her best-friend, not budging. No food, no water, no nothing…she stayed there, for a very long time. “Teiko, my best-befriended fox. May your soul wander along the heavens with the others.”
Years went by, Sashta was 5 autumns now, she was now a wanderer, a loner. Her water wings drooped at her sides. The past haunts her miserably.
