The Rain…

Listening to the rain,
Calms my soul.
As it cleans my thoughts, and sadness
Listening to the rain
Is peaceful
Letting wash away the anger
Wash away the hatred
Listening to the rain…
Washes away my sins

Why

Why must you leave?
You can’t go now, it’s not fair.
Why don’t you answer?
I call your name every day.
Why don’t you trust me?
I trusted you.
Why won’t a tear roll from your eyes?
I mourned for you.
Why won’t you wait?
I waited for you.
Why must you leave these lands?
God calls for you.
