Teal eyes darted to and fro, scoping out the clearing as a mainly-cream wolf, slim and lithe enough to show from afar that 'twas a female, moved into this new area, body quickly dropping to the ground, rusty-red markings glowing, alongside the rest of her fur, in the setting sun 'pon the horizon; only slants of it's light, though, cascading through the army of trees and into the clearing that Kayla was in.
Ears flattening against her skull, Kayla Calixte rose to her paws, and darted further into the clearing in the forest, body staying low to the ground despite her now-standing posture, tail seeking refuge between her legs. Head rose, snapping from the left to the right, and, since she was unable to scent any danger, Kayla sighed softly, flopping onto the softer earth beside a large fern, ignoring the tickling sensation of the vegetation against her body.
"Nobody here- good."
Breathing these three words, not even a sentence, quietly, Kayla slid her cream eyelids together above her teal eyes, another soft sigh escaping her mouth- she never liked sleeping around other wolves, though she didn't like males full stop. Well- it wasn't that she didn't like males, since two of her own pups were males, but it was that she didn't trust them; though with her past, could that really be blamed?
Although she may have looked like she was sleeping heavily, Kayla was, in fact, as alert as ever- even in the light sleep that had consumed her.

A shadow, slipping in and out of the trees, towards the clearing before it. White toes stepped into the light, followed by the rest of the body. A muscular figure, showing the wolf was male. Deep blue eyes scanned around, eyes set on a handsome face. He shook his head, a tuft of spiked hair moving out of his eyes.
With a snort, Axel stepped further into the clearing. Tail swishing, ears pointed ahead. Only then, did he notice Kayla. He stood still, watching her for a few seconds, before speaking, "Heya."
Just one word, but his voice sounded as handsome as he looked. And, as relaxed as he was.

A deep, masculine voice pierced through the thin veil hiding Kayla from the harsh reality of life, and, instantly, the female was wide awake, ears snapping back against her skull, fur bristling, lips lifted into a defensive snarl.
"W-wh-who are you?"
Her voice held fear, shock, and a note of authority- though only the slightest drop of the last. Her body, which had sprung up into a stand upon her waking up, was now crouching low to the ground, head close to her shoulders in order to protect her neck, if the male decided to be hostile. Her tail moved from being straight-out-behind-her in shock to rising up into the air like a snake responding to a charmer, silky fur bristling just about everywhere, in fact.
"A-and wh-why are you he-here?"

Axel cocked his head to the side, and raised an eyebrow at her reaction. He smiled, "I'm Axel. And I just...wandered here. That's what I do. And I never knew I looked scary." the smile remained on his lips. He found this situation rather amusing.

"Who said anything about looks?"
Tone hostile and full of loathing, nothing personal to him though, Kayla flicked her cream tail, rusty-red markings glittering as she backed up slightly, exposing her defensive-postured body as a stray beam of light pierced the thick canapy overhead.
"The fact that you're male...hmph..."
Her words spoken softly, almost so soft that he couldn't hear, Kayla drew further back away from him, narrowed teal eyes on his figure, her raised hackles, bristling fur and snarl a warning to him- to not come any closer.

Axel's smile faltered, and he shook his head, "Heh, okay. I can take a hit." he padded a little to the right, and stayed a few feet away from her. Just like she wanted. He sighed, and chuckled to himself, "Females..."

Still inching away slowly, Kayla turned quickly, to run, and found herself muzzle-to-trunk with a tree, making her quickly leap back to avoid smashing her head into it, which also placed her closer to Axel. Moving quickly back to the tree, sitting down, head lower than her shoulders, at it's base, teal eyes placed, glimmering with suspicion, on Axel's figure as he moved slightly and sat down.
"Females?! Listen, idiot, males are the worst gender."
Her words were followed with a muttering of every single cuss she knew- which was a suprisingly short amount; she didn't cuss often, though the need for that did often arise whenever she was in the presence of a male and couldn't get away like she wished to or, better yet, escape detection entirely.

He laughed, "Yeah. You have a point there. They argue too much. As a matter of fact, were all as bad as each other." he looked im her direction, one ear perked up, the other down. A cocky smirk across his face. "So, ah, you got a name, or aren't you going to tell me because I'm male?" he said the last part with a chuckle.

"No, males are worse."
Stubborn was a good word to describe Kayla, though a word to describe her present mood would be terrified- she was terrified of any male wolf out of puphood, and only liked male pups because of her own four pups- two of which were indeed male.
"Or, I could just not tell you my name 'cause you're an arrogant a**hole."
When Kayla was around a male that she couldn't get away from, she tended to go on the offensive- a good offensive provided a good defense, she believed.
When a soft breeze whisked through the clearing, sweeping back her silky cream-and-rusty-red fur, teal eyes glittering more calmly for a moment, a soft sigh escaping her lips- she loved nature more than she hated males, though she was more terrified of the capabilities of said wolves moreso than she loved nature.

Axel let out a stifeld 'hmph' that almost came out as a short laugh. "I get called things like that alot." He sighed, and closed his eyes. He'd always found females strange. Infact, he found all other wolves strange. This, perhaps was because he grew up never knowing one. But this female, was the weirdest one he'd ever met.

Ebonite frame swept under the dense thicket that bordered the illusive realm. Azure pools gazing intently upon the two others that inhabitated this area. Audics pestered forward, plume flicking upon the dirt beside him. Deciding not to interupt the conversation, the young mascu slunk silently about the underbrush, charred radars only visible within the vegetation.
Stilts carried the warlock far, before he crouched unnoticingly against the sodden adobe. With one last glance about, he stepped cautiously from the verticals, revealing his sturdy corpse for the others to see. With a bit of humor, lyrics reached the wolvens.
"Greetings."

{ OoC: Posting order- Me, Tammy, Dream. And; okay, Tammy. } "Wow, idiot, I wonder why."
Sarcasm dripping from her voice like honey, Kayla rolled her eyes slightly, lips still raised into the snarl, before a short, sharp yelp escaped her throat at the sudden sight of Haiku- whom she had neither seen nor scented, thanks to all of her energy being focused on Axel.
She leapt quickly to the right to be further away from Haiku, and promptly sighed when she realised that this had brought her closer to Axel.
"I can't bloody win!"
She sighed again, irritably, before doing a quick scope-out of the area; checking what was were, before moving back to the left slightly, and backing up a little, hiding herself between the large tree she had earlier nearly ran into, and a thick bush beside it.

Axel groaned, and stood up. He shook himself, then looked to Haiku, "Hi. Sorry 'bout her, she doesn't really like guys." he turned his gaze in the direction Kayla had fled.
