Her attention drawn to the pup once more, Kamaria gave him a half-smile in return to his small smile. "My name? Kamaria." A sigh fell from her lips, her muzzle rising towards the sky, eyes blank, empty. Of all emotion- nothing in them except hurt, except betrayal. Emotions that seeped into her mind, her heart, whenever her guard was down. She sighed, muzzle lowering to it's former position, though now her gaze had flickered back to the Alphess.
The soft nod from Asha made her feel all the more ashamed at her actions, and she wondered where these feelings were coming from. Casting the thought aside, she dipped her muzzle towards Asha again as the Alphess asked for her name. She had previously spoken loudly enough for none but Sacrind to hear, so she voiced her name for the second time in a few moments.
"Kamaria. I'm Kamaria."
Dark, sleek fur ruffling slightly with the breeze which swept through the clearing, Kamaria gave an action similar to that of an older girl- a slight flick of her muzzle to the left, an action which a human girl would do with one hand; flicking hair to the side. For Kamaria, the action wasn't about moving something annoying out of the way- rather, it was about comfort; a comforting movement she had used ever since the breaking of her trust, which had led to her becoming the ill-tempered female she was these days.
"I would like to-"
A sigh fell from her lips as she broke off from her request. Why would anybody grant such a thing to her? Sighing again, she stood, dipped her muzzle towards the Alphess, then looked from Sacrind to the silent male close to the pup, nodding to each of them in turn.
"I should go."
The reason she thought she should go? She was feeling emotions. One might think- 'Wow, big deal', but for Kamaria, the emotionless, close-hearted female, it was a big deal, and she was fearful of what could happen next if she stuck around any longer. She hadn't felt emotions other than self-hate and anger, to herself mainly and to the wolves who had broken her trust, for a long time, and the sudden burst of them now was making her heart leap into her throat, confusion overwhelming her, and this all was showing in her eyes- they darted to and fro, as if she was but a trapped animal seeking liberty. But she was free; she was a wolf, a creature of power, of prestige. That didn't usually matter to her but, oddly, today, such trivial things as that /did/ matter.

Sacrind liked the name. It was calm, soft and pretty, a gentle, silky name that wrapped around his thoughts like a comfort would if comfort was a thing you could see. He looked up and smiled, but his grin faltered. Her eyes were shooting one side to another as though looking for something, a way out maybe. Sacrind felt her unease in the air and he tilted his head.
As she turned to leave, he assumed it to be because of her outburst, and his, perhaps his words had affected her too badly. Maybe guilt was playing it's toll. The possibilities seeming endless, Sacrind ran to her side and nudged her gently.
"It's okay. I said sorry and I meant it." He said the words with meaning singing through every note of his voice. When he said something he meant, he let it show in his tone, and now it was quiet, low and soothing, the same voice he used when Kahana could not see something that frightened her.
His nose wrinkled in sympathy for her, as he knew that Kahana was just an emotion, that many emotions were just that; not seeing something you feared. His eyes became sad as he remembered the time when Kahana had walked into a tree. And when she laughed, Sacrind laughed, but when they had finished, she had asked "Sacrind, what does a tree look like?" and he had cried for her, describing it as best he could.
How the leaves looked like the boughs were ablaze with fire, and when they fell, they littered the ground so the mud could barely be seen beneath them. He described the rough patterns of the bark, and of the boughs reaching up to stroke the sky, and how the birds alighted there, and the squirells ran up it's mighty trunk tirelessly.
The memory always stirred him and his eyes brimmed with tears that he fought down quickly, for he was not going to cry infront of wolves, that would be weak of him. He felt such a hypocrit after what he had said to Kamaria about not running from pain, but he shook that aside. It was high time he stopped dwelling on the past.
Nothing changes the past, so he must correct it in the present so he wouldn't repeat it in the future. Kahana's favourite motto.

Ooc:// Yes I was a bit late on my last post too. I think a posting order is a good idea, but what if the character dosen't have much to say or do at that time? [/center]

OoC : Then, they can always pass their turn, or ask for the next poster to include them, and post after that poster, then go back to the posting order as normal after? x:
Example- Person A, Person B, Person C and Person D are posting.
A posts. B can't think what to post, so asks to post after C. C posts. B posts. D posts.
Next- A posts. B posts. C posts. D posts.
Etcetcetc.
Wewt. Sorry if thats confusing. x3;

OoC : // Yes, I experienced that problem. To avoid it, if everyone adresses the wolf who will be in the post after them, then writer's block should be held at bay for the most part. ^^

OoC : Good idea- and anyone who later joins the Rp can just get added to the end of the posting order. But what if someone goes offline? Does the board just pause? x:

(Hm...thats the problem. I went off yesterday and when I came back there was TONS of reading to do. Your right, catching up IS a beast.)
.::Lycore::.
Lycore wasn't the sort to jump into situations with a newcomer and delightedly explain his life story in a rushed manner. He much preffered to sit and listen, ragged onyx plume curling around his legs and the one upright audial twitching in a content manner. He had been much startled when he heard the young pup's quick, advanced reply to the femmora and no longer felt the need to watch over him. It became understandable he could take care of himself.
He was aware that he was growing slightly unnoticed, as though fading and fading into the background until he was nothing but another fallen auburn leaf, unnoticed and forgotten on the earth. He hated being the way he was. He guessed he was born that way, and nothing would change it. Slowly, the converstion of the surrounding fae's grew fainter and fainter, until there was nothing but silence and Lycore was back at home...back in Kupaii lake...
-Flash-back- "Don't leave me behind!" Black pup placed a small onyx paw into the liquid, only to remove again quickly with a squeal. "Its still cold!" He whined, looking at his sisters with a pained, awkward expression.
Mirage laughed. "We won't leave you. You have to get used to the water, Lycore! It's seriously, very nice. We won't let it hurt you."
"Oh....ok..."
He sunk his coal-black paw into the crystalline water, squirming as he did so, then the other...Soon he was in, shuddering miserably as the cool liquid lapped around his ankles.
"Oh...er...I'm coming now..."
He trudged slowly with effort towards them, shuddering with every step, squirming as little sprays of water splatted on his shiny fur.
"You can do it, Lycore!" Mirage called out. "I have faith in you, brother!"
Allia treaded on the water, swimming in a half-circle to see her black-blotch of a brother. "You better swim quickly - we're quite far away if you haven't noticed" she giggled softly, watching her brother walk through the water.
Lycore whined quietly to himself, focusing on the two blotches ahead that were his siblings. He tried to focus on them, but they were terribly out of focus, then they were in focus...in focus....out... The world started to spin around him. He groaned, and crouched into the water, which made him feel worse. He stared down into the clear, icy liquid, his head spinning, a terrible headache tearing through his brain...
Mirage sighed. She swam as fast as she could to her brother. When she was near Lycore, she looked him straight in the eye with her startling grey ones.
"Lycore- listen to me! You can swim. The water is nothing to be afraid of."
"Huh?"
He mumbled something, Mirage's words distant gibberish as his ears closed down. Emeralds being covered up by coal-black eyelids, his whole vision was closing down...dial being tilted down towards the water...The world still spinning....faster and faster... Finally dial collapsed into the water, body going with it, breathing stirred, as he lay there unconcious.
Mirage narrowed her eyes slightly, and swam back, using her tail as a propellor to get back to her sister. "Allia!" she exclaimed, swimming over to her sister. "Lycore just fainted in the water." she reported. "Water-weenie."
Water-weenie...
Water-weenie...
Water-weenie...
The phrase echoed over and over in his mind as he jolted suddenly and came back to his senses, dazed and embarrassed, blinking rapidly. He had to get over his shyness.
"Hi, I'm Lycore. Nice to meet you..."

Even within the wide open field, a sense of distress hung in the air. The grief Sacrind felt for his sister, the emotions the fae had given off, the overwhelming worry Asha had. How could she protect them if she had succeeded only in managing the pack so far.
The autumn leaves drifting toward the ground seemed set the forest on aflame, spreading as the wind gently carried them onto the grasslands. The land around the loch was painted so hauntingly by dark shadows and trees becoming dormant.
The Loch in itself was lit with color, different shades of crystalline azure and sage. She watched Lycore, the silent male, wondering if he was always so quiet. Though it put her soul at ease, knowing he was trustworthy. Tranquility overcame her, silence was sometimes needed, especially during hectic times like these. Seeing the fae address her, she paid close attention.
"Its nice to meet you Kamaria" her smile was filled with warmth. She was in high spirits as it was. Asha hoped she could provide the same feeling to all of her pack, freedom.
Hearing the sentence cut short after Kamaria's hesitance she nodded to herself, knowingly. It was not yet the right moment for the female to join a pack, this was easily seen. Was she too harsh on the femme? She never knew these days.
Asha wasn't so sure she was fit to be an Alphess but, she wouldn't back down from her position. This was an honor above all others. A gift that could be used to create a better place. Her thoughts were taking over....again. Sighing she turned to Kamaria, watching as the pup called out to her. "You are more than welcome to stay, if it is what you wish" The offer would stand, though whether Kamaria took the plunge or not was ultimately her decision.
"If you'll be staying, I suppose I should show you all to the dens?" Asha offered up a smile and began to pad toward the forest. Leaving the choice in their paws once again, looking between the three before continuing. From her birth Asha was said to be a mystery. Like a magic trick, never truly understood nor fully figured out.
