Padding delicately onward, the lithe form of a fae can be seen. Onyx, tan, and red fur sticking out against the earthy backdrop. Scanning the horizon she saw no other. Her auds perked, listening to her surroundings, hearing nothing but the flow of water.
This was perfect, a place to call her own. The sweet aroma of grass and leaves reached her nostrils. Bowing her head, she then raised her muzzle heavenward. A long howl emit from her throat declared her claim. A warm smile took over as she watched over her land.

Onyx pads thudded across the hard earth, the solid black wolven male weaved through trees as he ran, bushy plume flying behind him, emerald's fixed ahead calm, but hurried. Pearly ivories stained crimson showed through a slightly ajar maw, his healthy pink tongue slightly lolling as he galloped ever forward. They were following him. He had to get away. He had a tiny thought they had lost him by now. But just to be sure. He was lucky, he had escaped with nothing but a cut on his hind leg. But even then the agony was unbearable.
Great paws skidded on the ground. He was at the edge of the giant forest. Water from a giant loch visible in front of him through the trunks. Thats what he needed most. Water. Emerald orbitals skittered about the view of forest he had. Breathing the air deeply for the scent of the wolven he had got in a mess with. But all he could smell was the aroma of another. A femme, nearby. He breathed a sigh of relief. At least it wasn't them. That was something. Slowly he turned, and made his way out of the forest. Into the rich sunshine and he gazed at the stunning beauty of the loch in front of him. As if mesmorised by the shimmering azure aqua, he stood gazing at it stupidly. Not noticing the femme nearby.

Fit frame lay among the tall patch of grass, providing a cover in case a young doe were to pass her by. Her head rest gently upon her crossed front paws. Claws of ivory bore into the rich soil of the lochs bank. Her travels had paid off. She would have to wander aimlessly no more.
The scent of another wolf filled her nose as she breathed deeply. The unmistakable sound of footsteps reaching her sensitive ears. Tearing her gaze away from the loch, she lifted her head from her large unmoving paws.
Emerald/gold optics scanning the terrain, beautiful and wild, in which she now called home. Her watch fell upon the onyx figure, curious and defensive emotions course through. Standing, showing her full height, she approached the newcomer. Optics held a firm yet gentle gaze.
Her head bowed in greeting and respect, though she was still uncertain of the wolves intent. Her guard would hold until she was sure he came with no ill will. Secretly, she was happy to have some company.

The gentle pat of pawsteps on the grass finally became aware to him, and he turned his head slightly, only to jump back in fright as an unexpected femmora stood watching him carefully. Panting deeply, feeling very stupid at his reaction, he took a few steps forward again, his bashful trait taking over slightly.
"You gave me an awful shock..."
He said, his emerald optics not meeting her's fully. Then he realised why she was staring at him. She was the alphess, it was probably her land.
"Oh, I'm sorry...Please forgive me for tresspassing like this..."

He took a bit longer than she would have thought to realize her presence. Tail flicking to and fro behind her, distracted her for a moment. Strange that he hadn't looked her in the eyes as he spoke. Though she might have been a bit too stern upon greeting him.
She smiled in spite of her strong, stoic demeanor. "No need for apologies. Though it would be of my concern as to your business here?" she asked calmly, keeping a friendly smile as not to scare the poor bloke any further, feeling slightly guilty.

"I... I do apologise, I'm afraid I stumbled upon your land by pure accident."
He managed a wan smile, wondering whether to explain about the rogue wolves or not. Onyx plume flickered foolishly. He'd wait ito see if she'd ask first.

"You're welcome to stay for as long as you need" Her gaze fell to the water thoughtfully. He was of no harm here, she had determined. "Oh, how rude of me, talking and not giving a name. I'm Asha" A flustered look crossed her features, disappearing as she flicked her tail in annoyance with herself. "In time I would hope you'd tell me how you managed to stumble across this land" A yawn escaped as she finished her statement. Watching him once more, she studied his battered appearance.

"Oh yes...My name's Lycore."
He said quickly, shaking his cranium as he remembered it. She seemed nice...If only his bashful trait didn't spoil everything for him all the time. Wistfully he gazed over at the loch, his baron mouth even drier than before as he gazed at the cool, clean water.
"Do...you don't mind if I take a drink do you?"

"Nice to meet you Lycore" She shook her coat, the suns warm rays beat down on her dark coat, heating her body. It was times like these when she'd wished she had lighter fur. Then again, come winter, she was at an advantage.
Asha thought it an odd request, though who was she to deny it? With a nod, she signaled her ok.

He made his way over to the loch, and lowered his dial, letting the cool, clean, refreshing water slide easily down his throat. He hadn't realized how thirsty he had become. He rose, his thirst deliciously quenched with the sweet water, he gazed over to her with grateful optics.
"Thank you."

She watched over him as he drank, deciphering the cause of damage on his hind leg. Hearing his voice, optics turned their attention upward to focus on him. "You're most welcome, Lycore" Voicebox slightly raspy from her last yawn.
A gentle flutter of color, swirled into vision. A lost butterfly on its journey to warmer lands, a cool breeze brushing past, weaving through her fur. Just another reminder of the cold weather to come.

The vast, grassy plain made Sacrind look very small. Hunting for his blind sister, whom he had left in a forest a fair way away, he'd been travelling for a day and a half, still with no result. He was but four months old and had no idea how to bring down a rabbit.
By now, his ribs were showing and his steady lope was slowing drastically. His beautiful black fur was dropping in clumps, and his amber eyes had lost their spark. But still he ran, determined that if he was to die, he'd die watching Kahana feed and watch the energy pulse through her body again, for she could be in little better shape than himself.
Exhausted, he felt his front legs buckle and he went crashing to the floor, skidding a little way and coming to a rest with a stench of sweet water in his nose. He inched forward until his muzzle was in the water and lapped at it weakly. His vision was blurring, his senses were hazing over. His hearing started to fuzz and his sense of smell was drowing in this great loch of which he had no idea had ever existed up until now.
He knew he was on someone's terra, but he had not howled for fear of being driven out, and then he'd never have found food for Kahana. He'd never seen a loch before, and a familiar curiosity lit up in his eyes as he wondered if it had fish, like a river. He wasn't bad at fishing. If it was anything like the waters that had killed his parents, he knew he could save both himself and his blind little sister, Kahana.
He forced himself into a sitting position, feeling dizzy aqnd digging his paws in to stop himself going over. He took several deep breaths and closed his eyes. The breeze skimming over the loch had been cooled by the water's surface and he gave a little snarl of pleasure as it hit his face.
"We will survive." He said in determination.

A dark wolf padded his way up to the unknown terrain. He wasn't familar to these lands, he has also been a loner for quiet sometime now. Blade rose his maw letting whoever know his presence. His body tensed as the sun shown brightly and his black pelt. His large head lowered as he walked closer, his muscles tensed under his large frame as his eyes squinted to get a closer look. He wasn't the type to see better in the daytime. He shook his head as his paws left his marks behind him as he was curious what was ahead of him. His crimson eyes glanced around him when he was in sight of other wolfs but quickly went and hid under some bushes near by. His ears flat agaisnt his head his tail hung limply, this terrain was owned by something or someone, and he needed to find out who.

Asha, stood tall, her proud demeanor showing. Her bod relaxed and eased into the warmth of the sun, spirit free with the calming wind. Sensitive nose once again picking up the scent of a wolf, maw lifted slightly to the heavens.
Optics began the search before her lithe form began to weave through the grass. Stopping a short distance, the dark ebony fur of the lone pup lay before her. His thin frame and tired optics all taken in as she studied the young one.
She chuckled to herself, seeing the grim satisfaction cross his features as the water touched the youth. She leaned down, nuzzling the pup gently, greeting him. She straightened, watching. "You should get some rest"
She hadn't forgotten the stranger that lurk in the shadows. Her stare lingering on the tree line. She emit a low growl, she wasn't trusting the unfamilliar presence, letting them know quickly that she wasn't one to mess with.

Sacrind felt a muzzle nudge him gently in the sight and he looked up blearily. His hackles bristled nervously, for he had expected anger at his tresspassing, but instead, a kind voice filled his mind and he let his thoughts sink into it. He could scent another wolf close by, but ignored it.
"I can't." He said regretfully, his voice strong, but quiet and slightly rasping. "I have to get my sister food."
He thought of Kahana, alone in the forest, unable to see the surroundings, maybe afraid. He'd been away from her for longer than he'd ever left her, and a terrible guilt started to creep into his body. It made his muscles quiver under his pelt, and he felt the skin rub on his bones. He'd left her, vulnerable, alone. What if another wolf attacked her? She was too small to fight back, and she wouldn't be able to see which direction the wolf was attacking from. She'd be helpless.
Sacrind looked up at this fae, his eyes shining with frantic worry. His tail pressed tighter against his famished body, and his ears flattened against his skull.
He'd left her. He'd actually left her...
He gave a little whine as his thoughts fought to bring his determination crashing down, and it worked, Sacrind lowered his muzzle in shame. "I've left her on her own." He whimpered pitifully.
