So lost, so long, So weak, yet strong. She stopped. All motion stopped. Cranium lowered to scent the terra once more. Optics took on a glazed sheen as she raised her maw to the sky. Her song poured forth, the sad, lilting tones echoing as it reached the caverns. "Permission," it pleaded, "permission to speak with the Alphen one." Mitts left the earth one after the other, the f'mmora pacing in place as she waited.
Forget, forgive. Move on, let live. Optics, once more unglazed, scanned the terrain about her form. Her plumey tail waved in the wind, her pelt ruffled slighly. Her thoughts, once running wild through the valley of her mind, slowed; the words running to a repetitive beat. "Please... hurry..."
So lost, within My very soul and spirit.

Fang's pelt shone as he walked, barely hearing the howl as he dwelled in his own hate and anger, for himself, for his history, for the world and all who tread in it's wake. His white eyes glimmered with malice as he stepped, his claws raking the earth as he lifted each paw, enjoying the feel of power he had over what he stepped on. If nature was so powerful, how did it allow him to be here, walking over it?
The fire wasn't what had killed his family either, he thought bitterly. Choice and foolishness had. That's all. Nature was weak. He was stronger than it could ever be, for who could live with the crime he had comitted and not even feel the stirrings of shame?
The only shame he had was in the little killings he had made recently. He was a demon, doomed to walk the earth for as long as his hatred thrived, and I fear that his loathing would boil for a good while yet. Blessed with one power, to suck out the hope, the happiness, the emotion in a wolf and leave them blank, empty, feeling nothing but the anger and bitterness he was forced to feel every moment of his life.
He felt less alone when he took his revenge on the wolves. He made them share what he had to live with. Not many could. The last had thrown himself into a river and refused to surface to breath. Those were the killings Fang made. A killing he forced the wolf to make 'pon itself.
Fang's fur rippled a deep purple black, like a bruise apon the face of the earth, spreading his darkness to as far as his pelt could reach before moving on to infect the next corner of the earth.
Evil, the only word you could put on Fang's shoulders, unless you counted him as insane aswell, which many did. But his history, fraught with pain and loss was all that put such a demonic state of mind into this wolf at all.
And so, Fang lifted his own maw and sent a howl not to the leader of these lands, but to the wolf who had howled first, telling her of his presence. Give her more to fear as his song dripped with cunning and a seething fury directed at not one, but all who stood in his way.
Fang walked the lands.

OOC//Ohhh... pretty wolfeh! Heh, Fang would no doubt kill me if he heard me say that.\\OOC
Cranium lifted again as the howl reached her auds. A sad smile played 'pon her face; she knew his pain. Her fur bristled slightly at the chilling, threatening tones. But he was not whom she had called out to. She had no fear of this one. She released her song again, sadder this time. Calling out to him, the questioning tone ringing. "Why? Why do you cry so? Have you lost as well?"

Fang heard a song of pure misery reach his ears, and his heart lifted as he realised what words the howl spoke. Finally, some misery to feed on. He sensed he needn't even use his icy power of sucking good feeling from this wolf ... it had been done already.
He walked, in no rush and yet in no hesitation neither, towards her, maw lifting to the scent-laden winds. He caught the smell of her and a wry grin spread across his features as he pressed on, picking up pace slightly.
It did not take long before he came into view, and he stood, head lifted, looking strangely magnificent as his tail swayed slowly, side to side, and his claws dug into the earth, piercing the ground, hearing the autumn leaves crumble into dust below him.
He knew that soon these leaves would rot, like his heart had, and become part of the earth, which in turn would feed the trees to make more leaves which would then be shed once again. Nature feeding nature. Nature relying on itself. Like Fang relied on himself to keep from laying down and dying there and then, for his heartache was overpowering.
"Have I lost?" He growled quietly, almost to himself. "Oh no. I have not lost. I can do nothing but gain."
He was not denying that his heart had been wrenched from him as he heard his mate's screams, his cubs screaming adding to hers, the very cubs she had died to save. The only two Fang had managed to get away doomed to die at their father's jaw, as the wolf saw the injustice of it all. It had been killing his children that had really done it, that had really turned the wolf to what he stood as now.
He did not bother to say none of it happened.
He was just saying that he did not lose anything from it. For he had convonced himself that what he thought he had lost he had never had anyway. And if it never happened, he would not be the feared Fang, the wolf who could make a wolf kill itself with one silent howl, who spread darkness through each pack it passed.
No, Fang had not lost. He had made up for that by the loss of others.

A sigh of pure annoyance escaped the f'mmora as she heard his words. She looked into his eyes for a moment, seeing a fleeting truth there. "Do you mean to scare me?" The quip rang out, her voice suddently cold. The fae had patience, yes, but not for this. As her pelt bristled, some of her old anger and vice returned. Her dark green optics held his gaze, narrowed with impatience. "You are lying to yourself. You have lost much in a short time. Yet you hold all of your pain in, your anger lashing out at others." Femme's gaze suddently glazed, her auds perking. She was lost again, deep inside her mind. Mitts carried her foward, though she knew not where she was headed. She stopped again in front of the brute, eyes still unfocused on this realm. Wisps of sound came forth then, her maw barely open. "You are not the only one who has suffered. And unless you want the pain to leave you, it never will."

As the fae had spoken, Fang's eyes had gotten narrower, and his upper lip had begun to curl, his teeth flashing into view, claws clenching so that the earth beneath them loosened and became dust, the wind sweeping it away.
"Why would I want the pain to leave?" He snarled, eyes flashing angrily at the daring female who faced him so boldly now. "It satisfies my hunger, and my past quenches my thirst. For without a past, you are not a wolf. I have a story to tell, but it shall never pass my lips. It is mine, my possession, my belonging, and I will do with it what I wish."
He snapped his jaws together and drew himself to full height, his hackles bristling furiously. His anger just went to show; beneath it all, he was just a wolf, like she, nothing more.
"You speak of loss as though you know of it." The demon wolf growled suddenly, ears flicking forward, tail ceasing to sway. "And you speak of letting the pain go. But was not your howl wracked in the hauntings of sadness? Are you not treading back on your own words?"
He was not intimidating now, he could see that he would not succeed in scaring this wolf. And so he set about playing with her mind, allowing his words to wash over her and cling to her fur like burrs, not able to be shaken off. His voice had grown quiet, until it was just a hiss, whispering through the trees, swirling around the mouths of the yawning caves that surrounded them.
He cared not for who owned this land, nor for what they could do to him for tresspassing. The fae had howled for permission, but Fang would not stoop that low. His dignity lay in disobedience. As it had when he was a cub, but in a very different way.
Where he had been mischevious and intent of defying his parents, he was now dwelling in the hope of defying ancient laws, but still held one ambition for a rainy day; to kill a human.
Human's had found fire, so he decided they were somehow responsible for ... what happened. Thinking of it now made his eyes cloud and his ears flattened against his skull.
Fang, for once, was feeling pain.

The femme's eyes refocused once more, settling on the brute.
"Yes, I speak of loss. And it is something that I have suffered. I know that I have not let go, but that is what I aim for."
She paused, looking for a reaction.
"Letting go is not the same as forgetting. To remember, that is what most long for in their last days. But to have memories untainted by anger, you must first allow yourself to see the truth. You, you hide behind your lies. You are no more a killer then I. You search for sympathy, am I right? But you try to make others feel your pain. They cannot, but they can try."
Her gaze softened; she did know his pain. Her auds fell foward, an attempt towards a friendly conversation.
"You're killing yourself this way. Holding everything inside, it only hurts more that way."
A bitter pang entered her voice with those words, and her glance shifted sideways momentarily. She shook her head, there was no need to bring it up. She went to continue, but instead shut her maw, waiting.

((I'll try my luck here)) CAW CAW!! A charcoaled fur wolf lay asleep in the grass. CAW CAW!! Her head on her her paws, and her ears which had crimson markings at the tip, stuck forward, still alert in her sleep. CAW CAW CAW!! The femora's red tail swished once, then fell still. A breeze rustled her fur, as well as the red circle on her hind right leg. CAW CAW CAW!! Blue eyes filled with frustration opened, she got up furiosly, and looked around, the birds still crowed, and she could see them in the tree. She growled, "SHUT UP YOU BIRDS OR I'LL EAT YOU FOR BREAKFAST!!" She cried. One flew from a tree, but the rest still crowed, as if taunting her. Growling, she decided to leave and find a better place to rest in. Getting farther away from the crows, their awakening calls grew fainter and fainter. With a sigh of relief, the young fea grinned.
Upon her search for a good resting spot, she saw another wolf. "wow..." she whispered to herself, as she let the sight of one of her kind take in. "wow.." she said again. The last time she had seen a wolf was when she was a pup, and when she ran away from them. Shaking her head in disbelief, she opened her eyes, expecting the brute(fang) to go away. When she opened them, there was a femora with him. "Woah." She said. She didn't approach them, not yet. But instead she sat on the side, foolishly open to anyone's view. She had a stupid grin on her face.

Out of the corner of her eye, the fae saw another, simply sitting in the grasses. Turning her head, she barked a friendly greeting to the femme before refocusing on the brute, waiting for him to speak.

Fang's fury was growing with every word that the fae said. Eventually, he could not take it, could not stand any more of what she was saying. He was a demon, alive only for one thing, why could she not see that? She knew his pain, but why couldn't she see that it was in his loss that he thrived?
"No, I don't WANT the pain to go, wolf." He cried, hackles flying up, squaring his stand in anger. "Sympathy is nothing but a word any fool could use, and searching for it is even worse. Who would stoop to that level? I need no sympathy, wolf. I just need the comfort of seeing others in my own way. Of seeing what they would do. Sympathy. No, I look for pride. As they suffer and as they die under the pressure, I know I live with it, and I am stronger than them. Pride! It is pride I look for, nothing else."
His maw was slavering, he was just itching to feel her blood pulse under his jaws, to taste her flesh parting from her body. He resisted, just, for now. He wanted to watch her first, see how she reacted to him and to what he was saying.
His eyes snapped to the wolf sitting on the sidelines, just watching as though curious. He snarled at her. Right now, he did not want more company. He just wanted to see someone's eyes flicker into death. That was all.

The black femora smile widened even more, so that her mouth was now open. She barked back a friendly and joyful greeting to her. Then she walked a bit closer to the two, but saw the femora was now focused on the brute, and definatley didn't want to inturupt, so she waited on the side for them to be done with their conversation.

The f'mmora sighed, the brute's words ringing in her ears.
"Is that how you really feel? I doubt it. You wish to kill me now, do you not? I can see it, in your eyes. Do you really think that killing me would make everything better? 'Tis a pity that you won't hear the truth you heart speaks. Aye, we could have been friends... but instead you choose to go about, frightening others to their deaths and murdering those who won't be scared."
She turned away from him, starting to walk towards the other femme. Suddently, she turned to face him once more.
"If you ever want to talk to someone who can and will understand, you can try to find me. I go by the name of Rune. Good luck to you."
Again she turned, padding towards the fae sitting in the grass.

Taken back by Fangs snarl, she definatley wouldn't advance any closer for awhile. But still, she sat to the side to observe the two as if she herself was not a wolf, but a human, a tourist watching wild life. And to herself, she felt like she was watching two superstars put on a concert! She watched in aw, even though Fang snarled at the other fea, and the fea looked sad, or concerned. For a moment, she was sad, so many feelings her first time seeing a wolf in awhile. It was weird, she kind of enjoyed being around others for the first time in awhile. She wanted to interact with them, but knew she better had not. Now she sat there, looking at the ground, sadly. She thought about her mother, and how she left her sister and Touja. 'sorry...' she said softly.
