Fang snorted with mirth at Rune's words, his ears standing erect 'pon his skull, eyes glittering amusedly, and he decided that following these wolves would lead him to wherever the rest of this so-called pack was- which would mean more 'victims' for his power.
"I don't have to hurt everyone? Oh- but thats fun."
He smirked coldly, eyes burning with a icy flame, as he padded quickly after the other wolves, tail still lifted dominantly, ears still pricked up, vicious leer still in his eyes, and the cold smirk still 'pon his muzzle.
Skye's ears twitched at the conversation between Rune and Fang, and she smiled ever-so-slightly at Rune as the other female sped up to walk quickly beside her. Skye suddenly stopped, though, ears pricking up, tail freezing up and bolting between her legs, muzzle twitching as she caught the scent and the voices of the two wolves somewhere close by. She hurridly sped back up, nudging Rune, then Riddle, on their flanks, muzzle pointing in the direction of Claw-Feather and Masu. She glanced then back to Nao, who hadn't followed them, then caught sight of Fang doing just that, making her tail curl further between her legs, her ears flatten back against her skull, and her pace quickly matching Rune's again.

Masu gaped lightly. "They caught our scent...it's your fault." she whimpered. Claw-Feather shook his head. "No they have not...you're seeing things." Masu sighed. "Well...you're the one to be killed first." Masu spoke bluntly in a quiet tone. Claw-Feather turned. "Oh? And why is that?" Claw-Feather snikered softly. Masu shook her head. "Because your older...which makes you stronger."
Claw-Feather let out a soft chuckle. "Just because I'm older, doesn't make me stronger...yes your younger...by 4 winters....thats all." Masu sighed. 'Yes but I have the brains...something you lack.' she thought to herself. True, even though Masu was only one winter, she knows when to keep her muzzle shut, and tend to herself...however, Claw-Feather is full of mischeif, and can get him and is sister in a deep of trouble. "Claw-Feather come on..." Masu whispered to her brother, nudging him. "Wait Masu..." he spoke lightly.

~Riddle~
He turned briefly, the mascu following them. A soft growl, barefly audible, rose from his throat as he turned back his cranium, powerful muscles ribbling underneath his shaggy onyx coat. He regretted ever accepting the male now. Trouble was on the way, it was painted all over the brute's facade, in his wicked little eyes, glinting and gleaming like knives. Whats more, he made the femmora's feel uneasy, that wasn't going to be easy to live with.
As he walked slowly between Rune and Skye, a soft night breeze swept his face, carrying the faint scent with it of two other wolves. He turned, thanking Skye breifly for telling him, audials perked, listening to the hushe conversation in the bushes, he spoke clearly:
"Reveal yourselves, whoever is there."

Masu turned. "Told you." she spoke bluntly, as she slowy crept out of the bushes, her harks folded back slightly. Claw-Feather only snorted. "Of course we're going to be caught once-in awhile." Masu ignored her older brother comment, as she only sat her haunches down, but kept her distance from the other wolven. "Forgive us" she spoke as she snapped at her older kin. "I-we didn't mean to intruppt anything." She sighed.
Claw-Feather gave a look. "I over heard an argument, leading here. So...I thought I would be rather curious." Masu groaned in annoiance. "Here we go...always your excuse." she pointed out bluntly, as plopped her self on the autumn earth. Claw-Feather snapped a glance at his sister. "But otherwise, were a mere loners, in search of a home."

.::Riddle::.
He nodded, allowing a soft smile grace his lips, another fae, and thank goodness there was a male that at least wasn't going to be of a threat to Riddle or his pack.
"Of course, at least you have the decency to apologise. Unlike some."
He shot a sharp glance at Fang, dull azure optics glittering coldly for a second or two before turning back to the new-comers with their natural warm shine. He began to turn, to continue to walk back to the "base" of the packland. Then stopped, as though he had an after-thought.
"Oh, I never caught your names. I'm Riddle, alpha of Shader's den. Please make your home here if you wish."

Masu smiled lightly, with a small bow. "Many thanks Riddle, my calling is Masu." she spoke lightly. Claw-Feather did a slight nod, "Claw-Feather." he spoke. Masu slowly eased up to the other wolven, hoping they wouldn't jump at her. Her auds flattened sideways. Claw-Feather only laughed. "Whats the matter Masu?" Masu took a quick glance. She kept her distance from the others, as she sat her haunches down.
Claw-Feather only laughed, as he sat a little closer to the others, -well, as he sat next to a fem(Skye) "Goodday M'lady." he spoke with a smile.

Watching the exchange between the two newcomers who had apparantly been spying, and Riddle, Skye stayed as still as she was silent- her eyes the only moving part of her body- roving from the alpha to the two new wolves, ears flicking back occasionally, too, though.
Her ears flattened briefly back as Claw-Feather sat beside her, though she gave a polite nod and half-smile to him; not quite sure what to make of these wolves.

Masu kept her distance from the others, as she sat her haunches on the earthen floor. Claw-Feather turned to his younger kin. "Aw Masu, you are so stubborn, meet other wolven for a change." he spoke. Masu picked her head up. "Perhaps..." she began, then stopped and shook her head. "Never you mind." She then turned. 'Such an annoying brute you are.' she thought to herself. Claw-Feather's harks flattened in annoiance. "Thats my kid sister...I'm Claw-Feather." he smiled to the fem, whom seemed rather uneasy around him-yet he paid no attention to that.

Fang rolled his eyes. He was not a dumb wolf, he knew that there was little point arguing with Riddle, despite the fact that the demon wolf was thouroughly enjoying it. He tossed his head up, eyes glittering, silently plotting what next to do to annoy this wolf.
Play with the mind.
Manipulate.
Irritate.
And then move in for the kill.
Fang shook his head. The words were swimming in his mind, making his head ache and throb. He turned slightly, as a new scent caught his attention. He had no interest in the recent newcomers. But the one approaching now caught his attention instantly.
Whatever wolf was approaching was pulsing with something Fang held in himself; power, knowledge, evil, but it read differently. For this wolf was no demon. This wolf had no history.
This wolf was Zharradan Marr.
Fang scented the air and his hackles bristled, a flicker of anger flashing into his eyes, but not directed at the wolves around him. In fact, he appeared to have forgotten they were there.
The black wolf walked haughily, his head held high with dignity, but not dominance, not yet. That was to come. Soon, he promised himself. Oh yes, very soon.
The white dusting on his tail and paws were the first thing to be seen, for they were in such contrast to his dark pelt. Next to be noticed, the green, cat-like eyes, followed by the silver, metallic claws. And then, the ambition, for he was reeking of it.
He lifted his maw and he sent a howl, not quite asking for permission to enter, but warning of his approach. It was an obvious gesture to the alpha. Not the best, but a gesture all the same.
He flicked his ears and very soon came apon the crowd of wolves. His eyes scanned the scene and he dipped his head to them, unaware of who would be the alpha, and so resorting to being polite. Though Fang saw the twitch of his ear as he did so.
Zharradan Marr. Most knew of him. Fang felt hatred bubble up as he knew that if anyone was to match him, Marr would. Fang swung his head furiously, lifted his maw and howled. But no sound came out. His throat was moving, working, mouth formed the shape, but the song was silent.
He was breaking into Marr's mind to dissolve all hope and good feeling he found. He would take this wolf out there and then.
There was a force that found Fang laying on his side, winded. He had not flown backwards, but he had collapsed sideways as what had felt like a brick wall hurtled into his side.
Zharradan smiled innocently at him.
"How do you do?" He said in his calmest voice. Fang picked himself up, furious, but unable to speak. Uh huh, as I said before, Fang has met his match.

.::Riddle::.
Audials raised at an alarming speed, cranium jerked in the direction of the powerful howl, noting the warning tint hidden within, a low growl rose from his throat purely by his alphine instinct, dull azure optics turning sharp an cold like knives in an instant.
Bodice turned sharply, onyx fur bristling in the almost pitch blackness of the night, though the sounds around him as alive and strong as broad daylight, he could hear the deep breathing and slight whine of a male, the only male around here, apart from Claw-Feather, who Riddle knew the location of. No, this came from a more reluctant male, one who dragged behind... Fang.
He halted himself, the onyx mascu visible, yet not clearly, to his eyesight in the darkness, dominant stance sturdy and powerful, yet not threatening, he spoke boldly as the pair stood between the one who had seemed spiteful and invincible in the beginning, winded and panting before his paws.
"Who are you?"

Zharradar watched as one wolf detached itself from the others and showed many very obvious signs of dominance. There was a slight pause, before Marr's tail slipped modestly between his legs, and he slicked his ears back, dipping his head so it was below the level of Riddle's.
"I am to assume you are the alpha of these lands, yes?" In truth, Zharradan had no idea where or what "these lands" were, but he stood boldly and clearly unafraid, strangely handsome if the greed hadn't ruined his features. His white flecked tail gave a little flick.
He looked Riddle up and down, taking in the appearance and quickly guessing that in a normal fight, the wolf would beat Zharradan with ease.
But did the wolf have magical qualities?
Unlike Fang, Zharradan was unable to simply probe and find out who had what. The wolf had to guess. Zharradan made a mental note to observe this wolf should he be allowed to follow the group.
"In answer to your question, I am Zharradan Marr, I belong to no pack."
The hint was heavy and obvious. Zharradan wanted to join this one. At least for a while. Before he'd set off to another pack, and make a mental map in his mind, find out the strengths and weaknesses of each pack. And then, Zharradan Marr would strike. Not alone. Of course not. But he would lead them forwards. Zharradan the Necromancer knew how to gain loyalties...
Fang lifted his head and gave a snarl. He listened to the formality of Zharradan's voice, and the humble way the other held himself, and Fang felt disgust that a wolf with such power could sink to this level.
The purple wolf stepped forward, white eyes glaring.
"But can you really question the fact that you belong to no pack?"
Fang sneered, his hackles bristling. He had been humiliated, and his fury had risen all the more. His claws had dug into the ground, and his head was lowering, like a bull about to charge.
Zharradan turned slowly, eyes flashing.
"Can you really question the fact that you're a pathetic attention-seeker and have nother better to do?"
He replied simply, giving Fang a wink and turning back to Riddle. He could hear the grinding of teeth as Fang's seething rage began to seep out, and the wolf enjoyed it, for he had started to dislike the demon.

Masu watched as the three brutes continued to nit-pick and gripe at each other. She mearily sighed, turned away off to the direction. "I don't have time for this nonsense." she spoke lightly to herself, decending off to do some exploring around other lands. Claw-Feather watched as his young kin leave. His harks flattened sideways, as his head tilted lightly. "I will never understand her." he spoke bluntly. Turning, he continued to watch Riddle, and two other brutes argue, which some-what satisfied him so.

Skye nodded briefly, before her ears snapped upright, her attention dwindling away from Riddle, the newcomer, and the demon-wolf, to a familiar sound. A sound which made her heart catch in her chest, which made her body tremble with sheer delight.
The sound she had heard was the howl of the 'oldest' of her sisters- Azura.
Had she been able, when she suddenly sprung away in a northern direction, tail whipping furiously behind her, she would have released a howl that showed so much of her feelings- would have made Azura's heart soar as the deaf female caught sight of the 'middle' sister on the other side of the plain both had just gotten onto.
Eyes glittering wildly, the two met in the middle of the field, bodies clashing together, smiles framing the faces of both- though Azura's smile was also accompanied by a second howl- one of such intensity that the birds sheltering in the trees a way off took to the skies in fright- for the delightful ring in Azura's howl didn't make them any calmer.
A different howl entirely made Skye's heart thud even faster in her chest, and a quick nudge from Skye sent Azura rushing alongside the mute female as the pair practically flew to someone else on a plain close by- Tosca.
As the three came together, shrieks of delight rose from the lips of both Tosca and Azura, whilst Skye settled herself with the broadest grin that had ever graced her expression.
After a few moments of blind panic amongst the three, Skye eventually remembered the fact that other wolves were on the terrain- and that neither Tosca, nor Azura, had bothered with permission-seeking howls before entering the terrain, even though Azura wouldn't have heard the reply of Riddle if he did howl back, anyway.
With a second gentle nudge, this time on the neck of both of her sisters, Skye turned around in a quick one hundred and eighty degree spin, ears standing erect 'pon her skull. Her silent look to Azura sent the deaf female into smiling, whilst Tosca, who could hear the fur of Azura's face shifting together into a smile, grinned also- delighted in finding her sisters, as much as they were in finding her, too, and the other.
Within a couple of minutes, the three sisters, whom had become known as the Senses Trinity, were back on the plain were the fairly-large group of wolves were. Nods to each wolf came from both Azura and Tosca, the latter who's unseeing gaze was flashing over each wolf. Noticing the tension in the air between the demon wolf and the newcomer, Skye drew back towards her sister, and had she been able- she would have been whimpering softly, for now she looked properly at Zharradon, she realised that he did have an aura- but the faintest of ones. He wasn't as evil as Fang, but evil was definitely in his veins, and he had somehow reduced Fang to nothing more than a wreck, so it seemed.
But Azura and Tosca's eyes, a seeing gaze and an unseeing gaze, were not on their newly-refound sister, but on Fang and Marr- Azura could see the auras of both, and was whimpering pathetically, shaking like a leaf as much as Skye had, though it was Tosca who was the most effected- drawing right back against the ground, half of her mind screaming at her to run far away from the demon and the one with the slightly-less-evil aura, whilst the other half shrieked at her to not even /think/ about leaving her sisters. Neither of the two who were able to speak actually did- Azura just stood, trembling, beside Skye, whilst the blind sister moved as far back as she could, whimpering as though that was the only thing she knew how to do, milky-white eyes filled with terror.

.::Riddle::.
Joyous shrieks of disbelief entered his audials, the scent of two other females, very near Skye, he believed. A silent growl signaled to his mind he would check it out later, azure orbs narrowing to the sickly politeness of the mascu. He didn't trust him. There was something about him, that something which made the demon grind his ivories in rage which no one had been able to achieve, the something which made the bitter male topple over winded to his side, no evidence of the mascu physically touching him...
"Yes...I am the alpha of these lands."
Yet, he seemed like a hero. The demon's bitterness had surely given off a warning signal to Riddle, and to other pack members too, and this male came along and put him in his place. Though he seemed mocking to Riddle in his deep respect and politeness, his manner was much better than the nasty disrespect and hate that Fang had displayed to him and his fellows.
White-tipped plume swished agitatedly, pools regaining their full almond shape as he decieded on the male's future in the pack. Untrusting persona...but he could be of use controlling Fang.... Maybe he'd question him further.
"May I ask, what would you want with these lands?"
Ooc:// I didn't know what to ask him...

Zharradan turned his head as Skye tore towards what appeared to be wolves she had been wanting to see for some time, by the way they greeted eachother. He couldn't help the smile that flickered over his maw. It was a heart warming sight.
Zharradan flicked his ears towards Riddle as he announced that he was, indeed, in charge of these lands. Though another question rang through the Necromancer's brain which made the wolf's head snap round so quickly he seemed to crash through the air itself.
His eyes narrowed as he looked at Riddle, suddenly on guard, his hackles quivering, tail stiff. His ears were well forward now, and they were immobile, listening hard.
"What gives you the idea I would want anything to do with these lands, wolf?" He growled, his voice still polite, but cold and abrupt now.
Zharradan was still a wolf, sorcerer, necromancer or what. He had put Fang down merely because he had not wanted anyone to get in the way, and yet the fact that he had prooved himself stronger than Fang seemed to have a positive affect on the other wolves. Fang, however, had been caught off his guard. Fang was a demon and capable of many things he had chosen not yet to show, and Zharradan could fair off bad should a fight break out.
Fang moved forward, nose wrinkled in disgust as he heard the cries of long lost happiness. How he longed to be able to greet someone with such love...and how he longed not to long that at all.
But, looking at Zharradan, he realised this wolf was a threat to him. Fang bared his teeth and raised one paw, claws flashing. He would make this wolf kill himself, no matter what it took.
Only once had Fang used this technique. When he brought his paw down, pain would shoot through the nearest wolf's body, the veins feeling like they were on fire. Fang's intention; for them to kill themselves simply to berid themselves of the pain. Though it hurt Fang too. His eyes would start to leak blood, falling like tears down his cheeks, and his head would pound so hard he wouldn't be able to hear, and speech would be bellows of pain.
He would be reduced to something simular to the Senses Trinity, though he would feel the pain a lot more than those females, who had learned to live with it, much to Zharradan's awe, though the wolf hid it.
But Zharradan saw the movement from the corner of his eye and he whispered something that made even hard-hearted Fang freeze and give a choke of horror, disbelief and grief.
"Karma sends her love."
Karma, Fang's dead mate, perished in a fire. The one thing that had driven Fang to what he stood as now. To a demon, for he had died inside.
The word Necromancer has popped up a few times in Zharradan Marr's bio, and in this post. This could mean that he has magical arts, or that he can communicate to the dead. In his case, it means both.
Zharradan had heard of Fang as he hears of all wolves who could pose a threat to his plans and ambitions. And he had searched the Meadow of the Dead for anything that could unsettle these said wolves. As it so happens, nothing could have unsettled Fang more.
Zharradan turned his back, which was a gamble, but he knew that Fang would, for a while at least, be too numb to attack. The necromancer flashed Riddle a smile, knowing that none of the wolves around him would know who Karma was, and so they would not know what Zharradan could do. He was glad of that, and Riddle's question had been driven from his mind.
Though when it returned, he squared his stand once more, and his eyes flashed as though demanding an answer.
Fang felt a new feeling coursing through his blood, but one he could not name. His paw came down slowly, but he was not casting anything apon Zharradan. In fact, the purple wolf was thinking, and he was thinking hard. How was it, just how, did this wolf know of Karma?
Fang's ears flickered back.
It was obvious. It explained the feeling he had had when he laid eyes on Marr, of magical qualities, and it confirmed all that the Senses Trinity had been thinking.
Oh yes, those three.
Fang spun on his heel and gave a snarl, claws embedded in the earth.
"And what are you looking at?"
He spat the words, eyes lingering for a little on the blind one. To her, his words could either mean nothing, or they could be cruel. His tone of voice indicated the latter, for it was filled with venom. He needed someone to take his anger out on, and they seemed the more vulnerable targets.
He did not know that they had been deprived of eachother's company for so long, nor did he know that together they could be strong. He just knew that he was stung, and that the best treatment for stings is another's pain...
