Blade easied his way out of the bushes. "Yes m'lady" his voice deep and spine chilling. His ears flat against his head as his daggers shown as a evil grin emerged from his maw. His kneen nose smelling the fae from where he stood. His claws dug into the earth as his tail gently swayed back and forth.

Sacrind heard a bone crunching voice behind him and he felt the hairs on his tail rise, and his hackles flew up with them. He turned his head to see a flash of teeth bared in a grin full of malice, and Sacrind bared his own teeth reflexively.
He had not met many wolves since he had come here, but had learned to be wary of strangers, and he was particularly wary of this one. He shifted his weight to his back legs, ready to spring away if he needed to, rising slowly to his feet, his thin, skeletal frame quivering with his readiness to run, but his teeth showed more of a readiness to fight.
"What's your business here?" The cub demanded, his voice loud and defiant, daring the wolf to come closer. He was small and young, but he knew how to use his teeth. He shivered as he watched the earth loosen under this wolf's claws as they dug in, the tail swinging from one side to another, in a hypnotising way.
Sacrind threw his head and, still keeping his lips drawn back and he growled.
Don't judge him by the way he appears, Sacrind, give him time to proe himself first...
Sacrind heard the voice in his head, and it was speaking in the tone of Kahana, his sister, and he knew that that was exactly what the young she-wolf would say. Reluctantly, Sacrind's lips took their place over his teeth, but his hackles were still bristling, his tail still fluffed out. He drew himself to full height to make hhim look larger and more intimidating...failing dismally.

Asha had a soft spot for the pup, watching as worry flashed across his small features. "A pup shouldn't have so much worry, you're too young" The pup looked helpless in his condition, yet his determination she adored. Maybe it was pity for the pup or maybe it was that little bit of herself that she saw within his small form.
The malicious voice rang out in her delicate ears. The brute did not however, succeed to instill fear within her. She would not yield, she would not back down, this wolf was increasingly unwelcome as he brought ill will.
She made no move to attack or acknowledge the foolish wolf. Trespassing and looking for a fight were a double offense. Though still, she kept calm, watching the pup with amusement as he bore his fangs, demanding the wolf to speak.
Once the pup had seemed to back down a bit, she nudged him aside gently, stepping ahead of him. "Is there something I can help you with or did you come here to frighten a young pup?"Voice turned firm and harsh, yet still calm. She stood her ground, waiting for his reply.

Blade's claws still puncturing the firm ground the wold kept his position as a tresspasser. Head down guarding his throat and tail limp.
"Why...I am only here to know this land." his voice still the same as he walked up to the pup his cold eyes staring at the pup. The hairs on his back lowered as he approched the pup. He had one of his own and remembered how it was. Seeing as the pup was aggressive impressed him. "No worries, don't want to harm such a character yourself" His muscles tensed as he brought his attention to the fea.
"As it will do me the honor to gain your trust m'lady" his voice seemed rather charming as he spoke to the pup and the fae but at the same cold and dark. "I have not come here to harm nor to hurt anyone but to gain's ones trust as yourself for acceptance in your pack, if not so be your wish, but it will only be a wish you would regret." Blade said his evil grin approched upon his face.

Emerald optic's inquired on the young pup, then back up to the admirable fae and the new, tresspassing male. Hackles rising, he focused on his features. He didn't like him at first glance. The sinister glare and malicious smirk said enough for him. It appeared so to Asha too.
He turned his gaze back to the pup. Nervous, unsure, but determined and brave all the same. For a flicker of the time he watched the young pup he could see a small part of him as a pup, concealed within the small form. Maybe it was him imagining things, but he wasn't so sure.
Finally, the brute decieded to start communicating, as he believed he would go unnoticed otherwise, like the many times before. He shifted closer to the pup, and lied, head still high in a less threatening manner, and spoke gently and calmy, as not to frighten the small form even more.
"Hello."

"We'll get you some food soon, I'm Asha by the way" she told the pup softly, turning back around. She was most unimpressed with the strange wolfs antics. Watching him with untrusting optics as he came toward the pup. A sneer made its way across her femme features, a snort emit from her after his voice faded from her ears.
"I would not speak so sadistically to the Alphess of a land in which you have not only trespassed, but threaten as well" Amusement took over once again, she couldn't contain the small laugh she emit. "It would be in your best interest to either back down or think before you speak" A devilish smirk appeared almost instantly.
Glancing quickly to Lycore, she nodded in his direction, signaling silently with a meaningful stare to look after the pup. Just as quickly as she had looked away she turned back to the stranger, ivories gleaming in the afternoon sun.
"A pack member? You'll have to earn that kind of respect....or would that be too much trouble, sir?"

The smirked which layed against his maws suddenly went away and his additude became straight. "Forgive me for my rude entering miss, I tend to make that impression." the large brute bowed his head in respect which he doesn't do for most feas.
His gaze went to the pup and returned to the fae, "Member? Respect? I don't think that would be to much trouble, give me one simple task to handel for starts and call me when you figure that out." Blade bowed his head revealing the top of his head and slowly turned away to view the land.

Small, worried frown creased his delicate wolven features, as he watched Asha and the new, sinister looking brute argue. The malicious smirk of the mascu said enough for him, he hoped she wouldn't regard him worthy for the sake of his smooth, convincing words. He turned back to the pup, quickly switching his frown for a gentle smile, and waited patiently for his answer.

Eyes of a dark green shade gleamed with life, with secrets untold, with desires unrevealed. A beige-tipped tail flicked simply behind the female, almost brushing the floor as she padded swiftly forwards, slinking through the darkness of the forest like a shadow. At length, the sounds of voices filled the air, and Kamaria sighed- she had no intentions of seeing other wolves today. Although the terrain was indeed claimed, she had entered for no real reason other than to leave the other terrain she had trespassed on. Now, foolish enough to do the same again, she wondered briefly if the Alphess of the lands would punish her for trespassing, before casting the thought away as if blowing out a candle.
Dark body calmly falling to the ground, she stayed silent, only sneaking forwards slightly to better hear the conversation going on- apparantly between the Alphess and a trespasser like herself. Ears flicking back, she dropped her beige muzzle to the ground, not bothering to move as her scent was upwind of them- if they sampled the air, they would scent her without any difficulty.
Well- perhaps it was time to come into contact with some wolves again, no? Probably not, but- Kamaria didn't really care, to be honest. She didn't care for a lot of things, though, so it could hardly be called personal when her distant and cold exterior gave any who tried to get close to her the brush off.

Sacrind felt a little overwhelmed by being spoken to be two wolves, one the eveident alphess, and another male he had not noticed. The male seemed kind enough, but Sacrind was under the impression that he used his words sparingly, as the only speech he had thus far heard from the wolf was "hello".
The greeting was enough for Sacrind to win the wolf's trust, however, and he gave a nod and a wag of the tail in reply, inching closer to the wolf, trying desperately to mask his uncertain fear of Blade. He hadn't quite decided what to think of the strange wolf who clawed the earth, but Kahana's unspoken words still rang through the cub's head, and he let his hackles down.
He looked up as the form of Asha adressed him, her voice calm and gentle, as the male's, Lycore, had been, showing the pup that they weren't going to harm him. Relaxing considerabley under the protection of the wolves, his ears rammed forward and he pawed the ground.
"Sacrind of the Elan Valleys. Or I was, anyway..." Sacrind used his formal introduction. His own parents had been alphas of the Elan Valleys, a series of beautiful lakes set amidst a ring of tall mountains. There was a human reservoir aswell that the wolves had avoided, but the lakes were enough for Sacrind.
Sacrind had heard many tales about the human reservoir, and one he had passed to his sister, Kahana, and it amused them both. The story was true, which only made it all the more funny;
The owner of the reservoir spent a lot of money to get the reservoir dug out, and, being a highly educated man, he calcculated that the waters would arrive in exactly two days. The day that the waters were supposed to arrive came and went, and still not a drop of water appeared. So shocked by this, the owner of the reservoir had a heart attack and died. The very next day, the waters had come, filling the reservoir with crystal clean water.
Sacrind, looking out across the loch now, remembered the story and a wide smile spread across his muzzle. The humans, fascinating they were, and he felt a strange sensation each time he thought about them; fear mingled with a burning curiosity and envy. He also felt confused as these emotions mixed together were not meant to be and made him feel giddy.
He returned his attention to Blade, and saw the wolf acting more humble. Even more confusion crept into Sacrind's mind, so much that he gave a little whimper. This wolf had seemed threatening, and was now respectful and willing to be under Asha's control. Sacrind sat down suddenly, tilting his head comically.
He inhaled sharply, as he did when he was thinking things through and froze. As indeed the fae has suspected, her scent carried to the cub easily and he stood up slowly, hackles bristling yet again. He had heard no howl, indeed, he had not heard an approach. She must have been using stealth beyond measure, Sacrind reasoned.
He guessed she was female, for no apparent reason, as we, we being us roleplayers, look at a car and say "there's a good girl", quickly assuming the lump of metal with no gender was a female. He gave a tiny growl, just enough to be audible by Asha and his tail tensed slightly.
Too many strangers. Sacrind really was feeling way in over his head. He took several deep breaths and decided that he would just sit back, close his eyes and pretend he was alone. He did just that, letting his tail hang in the water, enjoying the coolness of it against his skin.

OoC : // There done. Oh and by the way, there is such a place as the Elan Valleys, I don't live far, in Wales. Beautiful place, it is. I know there aren't any wolves in Wales, so I'll move the Elan Valleys to a place where there is, eh? Oh yes, and the story about the owner is true too, funny, huh.

Ooc://Wow, really? You are so literate, and have so much to say. I can never think up as much as you to write.
.::Lycore::.
The onyx mascu watched the little pup with interest, his jumping emotions, once frightenened, the next minute peaceful, and the next frightened again. All the time with the same, curious, yet bemused look creasing his features and gleaming in his optics. Lycore tilted his head, a touch of confusion flickering over his long pointed face, yet hidden well by a soft smile.
"I'm Lycore, pleased to meet you Sacrind."
Determined to sound a little more natural, he spoke a bit louder, and tried to keep the baby-talk element away from his tone. The little pup seemed smart, his formal introduction told the tale. Maybe he was wrong, he couldn't imagine the pup being similar to him at all. Now, anyway.

OoC : // Yeah, my bus driver told me about the story, lol. And really? Thanks. ^^ There's a trick to my writing loads though...I just blab on about random irrevelant stuffs, it makes the post appear longer, but really, there isn't a lot of deatil in there. Or I don't think so anyway. O.o
A louder, calm voice brought Sacrind back to earth with a thud. He opened his eyes and his pupils dilated, flashing slightly in the sudden light that his lids had blocked out for the past 5 minutes. He looked around and caught sight of Lycore. Interesting name, Sacrind found himself thinking.
He bowed his head slightly, grinning as he sensed the wolf fighting to keep his voice the level he would speak to a wolf his own age. Sacrind was not new to this, many wolves spoke to him in slow, high pitched voices as though he couldn't understand the standard tones.
Lycore was correct in thinking that Sacrind was intelligent, but Sacrind had no choice but to be. Caring for a blind sister required quick thinking and a knowledge of what to do next, an ability to judge situations and the skill to know when to leave.
At the moment, this last talent was fighting with his curiosity. He knew Kahana was capable of looking after herself, but he kept reminding himself of what had happened after that flashflood...
Kahana and Sacrind had stood there, by the pool of water, staring at their pack's bodies, floating, eyes open, misted over, staring into nothingness. Looking into those unseeing eyes, Sacrind lost all hope and all faith in a world after death. Those bodies, already stiffening in the cold, drove all belief out of his mind. How could a horror such as that ever live to think, to feel and to be happy again?
Sacrind had gone off on his own at that moment, finding himself unable to look at those bodies. 9 days ago, his attitude had been so different to his alert, defiant behaviour he showed now. He'd run for a day, finding an old badger sett and settling there for the night, feeling cold inside. He haqdn't slept, just lay there with his eyes open, wishing he had died with the pack, for he knew that starvation would take him anyway.
But the thought of Kahana was the only thing that kept his will to live alight. He couldn't abandon her. She'd die of grief and confusion, he knew that. Snd so, the next morning, he had stood up and he had returned to his dead family and to his sister.
When he saw her, his forgot to breath. She was lying, face down, in the pool alongside her dead siblings, floating, her fur swirling, her tail dangling in an odd way. In that moment, Sacrind had thought she was dead, and he had never felt such a blow to his heart in his life. He gave a scream and launched himself in the water, knowing he couldn't swim, seizing her by the scruff and kicking out for land again. The water was quite deep. The snows in the mountains had melted and sent a small river down to greet them.
The icy cold water seeped in his nose, his mouth, his ears, and into his lungs. As he floated there, his sister in his mouth, he'd felt a wonderful calm enter him. It wasn't so bad, dying. All pain, all loss and all memory disappeared and he started swirling....
Suddenly, Kahana had given a strong jerk, and Sacrind had snapped back to his senses. He'd kicked and kicked and kicked, until, finally, his paws found ground. He dragged himself and his sister to the surface and to the land. They were dripping wet, shivering madly. Kahana coughed up a great deal of water and lay, limp and gasping, beside Sacrind.
Sacrind leapt to his feet. "You fool, what do you think you were playing at?" He had screamed in her face. Her misted eyes wide and leaking tears, Kahana had looked at him, without seeing, but for once, her eyes had focused on him, and she had replied, "I wanted to be with them." Sacrind's anger disappeared and he had lay by his sister all night long, comforting her and keeping her warm.
Sacrind looked at Lycore with a new emotion in his eyes, an emotion he could not name.
"I need to get food for my sister." He said firmly.
