The pup seemed to float off in a dream, mist filling up in his orbitals and Lycore watched him with wonder, observing his most interesting antics closely. He waited for the pup to finish his day-dream, what he presumed it to be anyway, but when Sacrind turned to him with orbs of such an emotion he could not name, he could tell it was much more than just a day-dream. His pools shone and gleamed with an emotion which touched him, summoned sympathy for the small child, an emotion that explained the trauma and tragedy that happened in his small life in just one look.
"Yes...Yes of course."
Bewildered, and mystified by the expression reflected in the pup's optics and generally the unusual little character himself, he felt the need to assist Sacrind to find food for his beloved sister.
"Where exactly is your sister?"

OoC : // >.> You're much better than me!!
The question made Sacrind look away. He didn't know. He had no idea where he was now, or where he had been when he had left her. His travellings had all seemned such a daze since they left the Elan Valleys. How he missed being in a place he was familiar with. His tail twitched wistfully. But that she-wolf, or what he assumed to be a she-wolf, was nagging at his mind, like a splinter in his brain, driving him mad.
Lycore, apparently, had not noticed her. Sacrind looked over in the direction of the scent pointedly. Seeing as no one else was, he decided to take matters into his own hands...erm...I mean paws.
"Just show yourself, will you?" He called, his voice ringing with what appeared to be irritation, as though the wolf's prescence was annoying him, which, for a reason he could not fathom, it was. He remembered what he always told Kahana.
We are wolves, aren't we? We feel the prey's blood run down our throat, we feel their terror as we pin them beneath our paws. The forest fears us, Kahana, and we have nothing to be afraid of.
He snorted out lud. Those words seemed so foolish now. The image of Kahan, floating, face-down kept appearing as though it was burned deep into his mind and he couldn't shake it off. In truth, he was powerless, and he had everything to fear. He was like a speck of dust on the face of this world, he was small, insignificent. He lifted his maw. But he was determined to prove otherwise.
Facing the stranger now, his eyes flashed with pride for who and what he was. So what if he was but another of millions of minds apon this earth? So what if he was but a cub? He was strong, and he had proved that for the 9 days he had been alone. His thin, sekeltal framed rose as he glared at the she-wolf for denying her right for freedom. Hiding like some rabbit, waiting for the claws of the wolf to close over it's little body.
Sacrind felt disgust for the she-wolf.
"Are you a wolf or not?" He growled.

A low growl escaped the lips of the silent female, and, fury flashing in her eyes, she rose to her paws, a snarl working across her muzzle. "Who are you to speak to me in such a tone? I do not hide from physical fear, child, but from the fear of emotional hurt." She spat, tail fluffing out as it whipped furiously from side to side, agitation and disgust for the pup apparant in her eyes and in her voice. Sighing, she took control of her emotions, tail ceasing it's agitated flicking, lips lowering to cover her canines once more. "I'm sorry." She growled, softer now, to the pup- she hadn't meant to explode in such a way to such a small creature such as he. "Truly so." Another sigh falling from her beige muzzle, she gave a shake of her head, sitting back on her slender haunches, now taking the time to assess the situation. A female, two males, and a male pup. The female was, Kamaria guessed, the Alphess of the lands- her posture gave off a vibe of dominance, of controlled power. To this female, Kamaria gave a simple dip of her muzzle, before turning her attention back to the pup, ignoring the two males for no reason more than their silence. Headstrong she may be, she wasn't going to let anything into her heart, and this included remorse and regret- for how she had just behaved before such a young, albeit courageous beyond his age and before his time, pup.

Ooc:// Short?! Writers block?! You have to be joking... thats way better than I could ever do.
.::Lycore::.
Startled, he stared at the pup, eyes wide. He wondered if for a moment Sacrind could be mad, insane, or even have a sixth sense, for he could nor hear, smell, or see anything. Then the scent caught him out. A distinctive aroma of unfamiliar wolf, hiding, watching. He presumed it to be a fae, but he wasn't so sure. he quickly got to his paws, wondering whether to step in and investigate or wait for Asha to finish with the tresspasser.
"Don't worry Sacrind...I doubt she's of much harm..."
He told the little pup, trying to make his tone reassuring. He was not sure if he succeeded though, sacrind seemed to see through the simple meaning of whatever he said.
Ooc:// Oops, gotta go. Swimming...

As the female rose and erupted into words of fury, Sacrind's temper rose also. He snarled and brought one paw crashing to the ground, sending crisp leaves into the cold dirt below, nature becoming another part of nature, a beautiful wonder of the world that Sacrind, in his own anger, missed. Ignoring Lycore, but feeling a distant gratitude for the reassuring note, Sacrind drew his lips over his teeth.
"Running from emotional hurt makes you nothing more than weak and the hurt will only mount until you are crushed by it's power. Don't you dare assume that I don't know of heart-ache." His eyes were full of sorrow and his anger as abating as it drowned in self-pity and sudden guilt for what he just said, just as the female had. He heard her apology and he lowered his head in shame.
"I'm sorry too. I guess pain does not vary the way it makes it's victim suffer." He gave the fae a little smile as she looked around at the other wolves assembled there, watching realisation in her eyes as she assumed which was alphess. Sacrind waited for her examination to finish before tilting his head.
"What is your name?" He asked. Sacrind always felt at a disadvantage until he knew a wolf's name. Otherwise, he felt he could never know anything of a wolf, even if he had had a taste fo their personality. For if a nameless wolf had a personality, then how much of a personality could it be? Confusing himself with his own thoughts, Sacrind sat down slwoly.
He was wary of this wolf, for he and his sister had encountered several wolves on their travels...
They had been passing through a territory after having been driven out of the last one, seeking a pack to join before they died of hunger. It had been half way through their nine days of restless, sleepless travelling, and this territory was unusually small. Not thinking much of it, Sacrind had followed the strong scent of wolf until he came across a male, sitting, his backhunched, legs sticking out at odd angles. As he turned to acknowledge the appearance of strangers, Sacrind had seen the loops of saliva, the unkept fur, the wild, bloodshot eyes showing the whites. He'd never seen a rabid wolf before, but the scent of illness and apporaching death was overpowering, and it numbed Sacrind the moment he sensed it.
The wolf had sprung, claws outstretched, maw opening hungrily. It had bowled Kahana over, and she had stared in blind terror at him, too shocked to struggle. And Sacrind, too shocked to move. Kahana had had a faceful of foul breath, saliva dripping onto her fur as the wolf began to foam at the mouth.
Sacrind saw that the wolf's mind was gone, that it was exactly what a human thought every wolf to be; a mindless killing machine, so hungry and so sick that he was driven to eating his own kind. Sacrind saw the bodies of his mate and of his cubs laying in the grass behind the wolf, but wished he hadn't, and felt sick just to think about it.
And among those cubs was Kahana...the little premonition ended, and Sacrind could see the wolf's maw opening, measuring Kahana's throat, wondering how hard to bite. Sacrind had run, screaming, at the wolf, seizing it's leg in his little jaw and shaking it, ripping the tendons. The wolf had screamed and staggered backwards, Sacrind had hauled Kahana to her feet and they had run faster than they had thought possible...
Now, Sacrind found it hard to trust wolves who showed anger or hatred, for the rabid wolf had been nothing but. Though Sacrind had no idea, the wolf had died not long after sacrind had bitten him. Sacrind had spat every bit of blood from his mouth, disgusted by what he had seen, again, not knowing that he would have become the same as the wolf otherwise. The wolf had started eating his own flesh, before the disease brought his life to an end, thankfully.
For a wolf to turn on it's own family was a thing Sacrind had never dreamed of, and a thing no wolf, not to mention a cub, should ever have to witness.
And so, the cub stood, waiting for an attack, and hoping it wouldn't come, for he was in no state to fight back.
