o{ Adair }o
Smirking at her soft laugh, followed by her comment, Adair gave a flick of his tail, amusement etched across his features.
"So, you have no pack, and no mate, but you are an Alphess?"
His voice a sneer, amusement gleaming in cold grey eyes, Adair watched Asha's movements, smirking more and more. She was an attractive wolf, if one looked past the harsh manners and attitude problems, that she seemed to have- at least, to him, she had them.

.::Asha::.
Breathing in deeply a sense of freedom washed over her senses. Dipping her maw to the gently flowing water, she lapped up her fill, allowing the liquid to refresh her throat.
"Seems you are correct."
She tilted her cranium to the side, studying him a moment. There was always hope for the future, after all, things change. She was sure that eventually, she'd have a pack. None of this was of deep concern.
A devilish smirk took over, spreading across her maw. With one swift move, she jumped into the azure depths, making her way to capture a fish. Tail, gliding through the water behind her.

o{ Adair }o
Nose wrinkling as Asha plunged into the water, Adair snorted half-disgustedly, eyes rolling before looking down to the ground, as though he could see right through it, through the layers of the earth, and into Hell itself.
"You know, love, that some wolves, like me, would jump at the opportunity to take this terrain. And how would you stop that?"
Smirking, he lifted his gaze back up, watching her evenly, before a soft cackle was flung out into the horizon, eyes glittering malevontly.

.::Asha::.
Claws extending, she spotted her target swimming close by. Lunging, she gripped the wriggling fish between ivory canines. Hauling her body from the water she dropped the fish of salmon pigment onto the moist earth.
Her fur sleek, dripping with the cool liquid. Hearing his response she smriked, padding closer to his body. Asha came to a hault in front of him, a malicious grin plastered on her maw as she shook the water from her fur.
"They would have some trouble. I plan on fighting for it if I really must. There really wouldn't be much to lose for me now, would there?"
She looked back over to her catch, padding back over to her meal.

o{ Adair }o
"You plan on fighting for your terrain, eh? But, like you said, there isn't much of it- though in a fight with a male, you'd have more than just your terrain to lose."
Smirking maliciously, eyes glinting with spite and malevolence, Adair stalked after her to the fish she had caught, a laugh escaping his throat as he leapt in front of her, one claw landing on the fish and crushing it into the earth.

.::Asha::.
"I wouldn't underestimate me, I've protected myself as well as other lands before and still can. It would be a shame to fight you for something so insignificant though."
A hearty laugh escaped her throat, optics brimming with mischief. Seemingly indigo pelt dripped with the few remaining water droplets, moistening the earth below her bod.
"Would it be too much trouble to give back my kill?"
A soft frown appeared across her maw. She would never admit out loud, but the brute was captivating in some strange way. However satanic and immoral he may be.

o{ Adair }o
Adair laughed at her words, smirk appearing on his muzzle again, amusement glittering deep inside his eyes, though the amusement faded out for a moment at her question, his ears twitching for a moment, before he smirked, lifting his paw up and off of the corpse, innocent smile painted across his expression.
"Sorry, darlin'."

.::Asha::.
Gripping her kill she stood, meandering away to a spot amongst the grass to eat her meal. Settling down not far away, she nestled the pink hued fish between her paws, ivory claws holding it in place. Canines tore at the fresh meat, picking milky bones clean.
After having her fill the remains were tossed aside, being of no further use to her.
"Why is it exactly, that you choose to stay?"
Asha could think of few reasons for why he would actually stay in a valley without a pack.

o{ Adair }o
Smirking as she lifted the kill and moved away, Adair stalked silently after her, sitting close by and staring coolly at her, before her words came, and his eyes glittered malevontly.
"No Alpha, no problems. I can do whatever, or do whoever I want, here."
His voice a low, menacing hiss, Adair smirked again at her, before lifting his muzzle towards the sky.
"Besides, pack-life ain't for me."
His voice was calmer, and more amused- a snigger, now; for there was a hidden meaning behind his words, that one could only understand if they truly tried.

.::Asha::.
"If it weren't for your ego, you might be slightly bearable."
A smirk appeared, though she tried to hide it, tilting her head slightly away. Asha brushed off his crude words, deciding to ignore him. A drop of rain fell atop her muzzle, then another.
Ashen clouds hung gloomily amid the ebony sky. Drop after drop began to fall, starting gently.
With a sigh, Asha lifted her muzzle heavenward, watching every bit of the liquid as it fell. A harsh tone emit from her throat as she spoke.
"You're wasting your time"

o{ Adair }o
Eyebrows rising, Adair smirked at her first comment.
"Love ya too, sug'r."
He smirked, before blinking as raindrops started falling from the skies above. Nose wrinkling in disgust, before his ears pricked up at Asha's harsh-spoken words.
"Doing what?"
He asked, eyes glittering, innocent smile on his wet muzzle.

.::Asha::.
Asha stood, shaking the small drops of rain from within her thick fur. One eyebrow raises, tail swishing steadily against the earthen terrain.
"As if you don't know."
Standing Asha stretches, muscles flexing, claws extending before retracting. Adair was undoubtedly a persistent brute.
Grinning, Asha circled closely around, tail brushing past the base of his neck as she whispered in his ear.
"Do me a favor, don't mess with me."
She smirked before padding away from him once more, moving to seek shelter from the rain under the cover of the trees.

o{ Adair }o
Innocent smirk framing his face at her first comment, he gave a low snarl of annoyance at her second, ears flattening irritably against his skull. Smirking back in a mocking manner, he, as before, stalked after her, tail lifted like a flag, his own body seeking shelter beneath the towering trees, tail twitching irritably.
"One thing I hate more than obstinate females? Rain."
He snorted, rolling his eyes, before glaring up at the skies above, as though willing for the rain to cease its pouring.

.::Asha::. "One thing I like more than egocentric, manipulative males?.....My mistake, Nothing."
Rolling vibrant optics she nestled among the leaves, basking in the shadow of a seemingly immaculate tree. few raindrops that managed to break through the fiery canopy, dripped gently from above.
The rain had never burdened her, sitting calmly watching as the chilling liquid began to fall in torrents before her. Curling her tail around her body she managed to keep in some of the warmth that quickly radiated from her body, attempting to warm the cool air around her.
Asha had made herself quite comfortable, curled delicately, half-way against a tree. She felt slightly bad for being so rude, though he had been rude as well, if not more so. Why should she? Exactly, she shouldn't.

o{ Adair }o
Pulling a mock-offended expression onto his face, Adair gave an innocent smirk to her, though his malevolent eyes told a different tale. Sitting back on his haunches, movements not nearly as delicate and feminine as Asha's, he stared out at the downpour beyond the leafy canopy, gaze holding not just malevolence now, but a secret- lost to everyone but him.
"Rain isn't so bad, though..."
His voice a soft murmur, a breath of air that threatened to die out if even a light breeze hit it, his words mainly directed to himself, Adair shifted uncomfortably, becoming conscious of Asha's presence, and merely smirking to cover up his sudden 'nice'-ness; the Devil's Advocate couldn't be seen as nice now could he?
