.::Amaris::.
The chilled wind swept through the creek, ruffling her multi fur. The femme closed her eyes against the breeze, enjoying the sensation against her facade. For one second, she forgot all the memories, all of the pain and grief she bore in her attractive lithe figure, just...enjoying herself. Something she hadn't done for a long time.
She opened her optics. Their startling cyan brimming with wonder and calm. It seemed as if this place was beckoning all of the thoughts locked inside her mind for a long time, bringing them out into the open, and soothing them. For once she felt her mind at peace.
She dipped her muzzle into the clear waters, the slow running trickle music to her audials, savouring the fresh sensation of sweet, clean water slipping down her throat. Her plume waved lazily behind her, and she flopped to her side, a picture of relaxation. Now, anyway.

+ . Braeden. +
White slowly slunk through the trees, swirls of beige streaming up his legs. Teal eyes were angry and depressing, a pessimistic, dark expression folding over Braedens young face. He slowly made his way towards the creek, his head swiming with memories. As he approached the water, he pushed memories aside.
Maybe Braeden would be able to face his fears of the water.
Stepping forward, his paws slowly moving, he gazed into the depths of the water, his teal eyes narrowed, and his vision blurred with memories.
BRAEDEN! BRAEDEN, HELP ME!
the shrill female voice strung around his brain and hugged it tightly as Braeden rememebred the gentle Paperstream, who, as a pup, had been swept down torretns of rushing river. The creek before him suddenly changed; it morphed into dark blue indigo currents of doom, and screams pressed their way into his mind.
Braeden doubled back, shaking his head wildly, his eyes filled with fear. The creek suddenly became the peaceful scene that it really was. Braeden sighed darkly.

.::Amaris::.
Delicate audials twitched inquistitively, attractive cranium turning to source of the noise with pretty cyan eyes painted with innocence and curiousity.
But then again, she wasn't just a pretty face.
Diving for cover behind the near bark of a tree, she grasped the best view she could. A male... pure white was his fur covering....
NOOOOOO!
Her bethrothed mate, Keon, with the simalar dazzingly white pelt. Crimson bloodstains of her one and only love splattered brutally over his front and mouth, wicked silver optics glinting with a evil sense of victory....
"No!"
She spoke out loud, shaking her head hard, automatically walking backwards as though trying to shake all creul thoughts right out of her head. It wasn't until after she realized what she had done. That cleared all of the thoughts out of her head.
Wincing slightly, she advanced with hesitation, half revealing herself to him across the creek if he chose to look.
((Eh, short. I don't feel well... *hiccup*))

Braeden looked around, pain flittering acros his eyes, his memories still fresh. He could have sworm he heard someone; a female wolf, probably. He looked across the creek and was startled to see the wolf looking at him. Braeden narrowed his eyes, hoping she hadn't seen his little display of weekness as his memories had poured into his mind. He tried to stop shooting glances at the creek, as if half-expectiing it to turn into crazy torrents of dark indigo and engulf him in waves of pain and fury. Biting his tongue to stop himself from acting like a psycho, he settled his gaze back on the female.
Who are you?
his voice was cold and unfriendly as he spoke, letting go of his sharp-willed tongue. His mind was allwready treaming with ideas on how to ruin the femme's day.

She walked forward slightly, revealing her full body, glossy tail curling around her legs curiously. Cyan optics inspected the male once again, the cold, unfriendly stood before. It was too late now, she had seen the wolf inside. She had seen him leap back in fear of the creek. Peaceful, and harmless as it was, and now she was watching him pretending to be someone else. A mixture of emotions welled up inside her, sympathy, yet mostly amusement. She smiled gently, ignoring the harsh tone and still using her most sweetest, feminine tone to confuse him.
"I'm Amaris."

+ Braeden +
Despite his cold nature, Braeden managed to choek out a compliment. He actually liked the femme's name. And that didn't normally happen much. He wasn't one for giving compliments.
Nice name.
he grumbled.
Name's Braeden.

Ooc:// Oops...Sorry I'm so late...
.::Amaris::.
A soft smile spread over the femme's facade, her cyan optics blinked in wonder for a moment at the unexpected compliment from the mascu. Her tail swept around her legs and she sat down, posture upright, mixed fur colours blended attractively like a watercolour painting.
"Oh."
She spoke.
"Pleased to meet you; Braedan."
She loved the name, rolling it around in her mouth before saying it with passion, she giggled lightly.
((Merf. She's so...so...GIRLY!!))

( THE GIRLYNESS! AHHH! GET IT AWAY FROM MY BLACK CLOTHES! )
+ Braeden +
Braeden sat down also, rollong his eyes at Amaris's giggle. She was a bit.... too girly. But whatever. She minded him a bit of Paperstream. She was the only girl whom her girly personality wouldn't be able to bother Braeden.
But no one would be able to take the place of his beloved Paperstream, his love, his darling, this only friend. Swept away by horrible torrents, horrible, dark waves crashing against a once-lovely river.
Braeden winced softly as he looked at the creek, as if he expected it to become the crazy indigo waves. But the creek stayed calm, ever peaceful.
He looked at Amaris and was at a loss ofr words, he culdnt' think of what to say next. He was bad at conversations. But his mind whirrled with the ark tricks he could pull on the female.
Starting with the creek.

She got to her dainty paws, and leapt neatly onto a boulder set in the a short way from the side of the creek.
"Where are you from Braedan? Do you have a pack?"
She inquired absent-mindedly while playing leap-frog along the rocks, her four paws gripped tightly to the rock as if crafted like the toes of a tree frog before making the next jump. Such fun...reminded her so of puphood days in the summer...long before the reminder of Koen and Amaris's upcoming mating was set to take place.
She stopped and sat, gazing playfully at the clear waters rushing around all of the rocks, then turning her gaze back to Braedan, awaiting his answer curiously.

Braeden shook his head.
No. I don't have a pack. I used to live in one.
he decided to say the bare minimum. Maybe Amaris wouldn't question him.
Hopefully.
My birth pack was fun. I had fun...but one day it all went horribly wrong.
his voice shook lsightly as he lowered his gaze rfom Amaris to the water and his eyes glazed with fear and horror.
I left that day....I didn't want to be around a pack who blamed me for an accidental death.

She stopped her game, and looked up at him with emotion glazed optics, looking through the harsh shell of the wolf before and through to his weakness, she took in his nervous glances to the water yet remembering her own past.
"I know how that feels."
The friskiness gone from her voice, she looked down for a minute, the grief swallowing her up once more, the memories of Rowland, the memories of the happy times they spent...

He shook his head disbelieveingly.
No one can possibly know how I feel. They blamed me. I was only playing...it's all my father's fault. He...he took my concentration away. And then she was swept away with the river, swept away by crazy indigo torrents of parading doom....

She looked on at him disbelievingly. She hadn't expected him to give him that much information at once, especially as he seemed so shy... She didn't understand it all...something about, a female...swept away by the river? She stared at the creek blankly, coming to the conclusion about the continual winces at the harmless creek. She began her story absent-mindedly, her head still hung, not wanting to make eye contact.
"I was bethrothed. My mother and father wanted me to have the best life possible...but...but the best life possible was with him. I needed him, he was the only one who could keep me whole... why...why did they have to kill him?"

Braeden remembered the raging torrents and they splashed into his mind, and Paperstream's screams echoed in his ears, making him cast his gaze downward.
Paperstream was only a pup. We were playing. I loved her, I really did! But because of my father she'd dead. Gone. Forever.
Braeden was swept away in wave after wave of guilt and despair. It was partilly his fault, he had lingered long enough, he hadn't kept his eyes on Paperstream, and before he knew it he had been swept away in despair and was chasing after her, but the torrenting river was too dangerous.
Braeden, his memories getting the best of him, let out a short, agrivated sigh of displeasure.

She listened to his story with interest, which had obviously scarred him emotionally for the rest of his life. He was like her, they had both lost a loved one due to controlling parents, but he didn't seem to see that...
She leapt elegantly to the side of the bank he was sitting, a pained look spread across her facade.
((Eh, writers block. awkward time.))
